Meet the All Electric Ford F-150 Lightning

Introducing the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning! Ford’s first electric truck is the smartest, fastest, most innovative F-150 ever made! We know our customers here in Loveland, CO love their trucks and we do too. We understand you might feel skeptical of a fully electric truck, especially if you use it for work, but read on to find out why the Lightning is the perfect truck you didn’t know you were waiting for! F-150 Lightning Range The first question I’m sure you want the answer to is regarding range. The F-150 Lightning, equipped with the extended range battery will get up to 300 miles of range. Charge it overnight and head into your day with the electric equivalent of a full tank of gas! But how will actual usage stack up to that estimated range? Just like hauling and towing decrease fuel efficiency, doing so can affect your electric range as well. However, Ford has you covered! Ford Intelligent Range assesses factors like towing, payload (measured by on board scales), weather, traffic, and road grade to accurately calculate range variances for each unique driving experience. If you know you’ll need to charge along the way for longer trips, FordPass Power My Trip will identify charging routes before you start the journey. Hauling and Towing Speaking of payload and towing, the F-150 Lightning is capable! Tow up to 10,000 lbs with confidence, and allow features like Pro Trailer Hitch Assist to make towing a breeze. This system automatically controls the steering wheel, throttle and brakes to alight the hitch ball and trailer coupler. Similarly, Pro Trailer Backup Assist will allow you to back your trailer up with just the turn of a knob. Let the truck know where you need the trailer to go and it will respond accordingly. The smart hitch will also measure the tongue weight of the trailer to help you distribute trailer weight correctly. Don’t hesitate to load up your gear with a 2,000 payload capacity! The onboard scales mentioned above will ensure you’re never left guessing. Built for Work or Play This electric truck was still built to work and it’ll make your work life easier! Enhanced Pro-Power On Board delivers up 9.2 kW available at 21 charge points throughout the vehicle, including 11 outlets. Whether you need it for power tools or tailgate parties, the Lightning will allow you to do more than ever before. Intelligent Backup Power also has your back in case of a power outage at home. The F-150 can act as your own personal power plant, powering your house for 3 days during an outage! What about all these new technology when it comes to off-road adventures? Well, 4x4 is standard on the Lightning and it is built on an all new frame using the strongest steel ever in an F-150. Metal skid plates shield the battery and onboard motors from rough terrain. The battery in a waterproof casing surrounded by crash absorption protection. Feel free to find that perfect campsite, no matter where it lies. Driving and Ownership Experience As for the driving experience, the low center of gravity makes this the best handling F-150 ever. Thanks to use under 600 horsepower and 770 lb-ft torque available right from the start, it’s also the quickest F-150 ever. Clocking in at a mid-4 second range going 0-60, the lightning is even faster than the Raptor! A new independent rear suspension provides a luxuriously smooth ride as well. Ford BlueCruise offers a hands free highway driving experience to make road trips less stressful so you can enjoy that smooth ride. The SuperCrew setup leaves plenty of room for 5 adult passengers, and you can easily pack up all their gear as well with the large Mega Power Frunk. All that space where the engine used to be is now a functional, organized cargo space with tie downs, dividers, 400 lbs of payload, four power outlets and USB outlets. The hood opens with the press of a button with the grille attached, giving you low convenient access to load or unload. This all sounds great, but also sounds like it will add up to a truck exceeding the price range of the typical driver. Ford surprised us again there with a starting MSRP of only $39,974 BEFORE tax credits! Redeem up to $7,500 in Federal tax credits. State and utility tax credits may be available as well. In addition to the affordable price range and tax incentives, the F-150 Lightning also offers the lowest cost of ownership of any F-150 ever! Less scheduled maintenance (like no oil changes ever!) and software updates happening automatically means fewer trips in for service. Reserve Yours Now! Learn more about the Ford F-150 Lightning here. Or, if you’re as excited as we are and you’re ready to electrify your driving experience, reserve yours here!

2021 Ford Bronco

The Ford Bronco Legacy Returns

The Bronco is back after years of rumors and speculations. The unveiling is officially scheduled for 6pm MST on Monday, July 13. Loveland Ford will be taking reservations starting immediately after the unveiling. $100 will reserve your piece of history, brought back to life for the modern day. This expertly redesigned, all new 2021 Ford Bronco is what Built Ford Proud is all about. It will be a complex vehicle with genuine off road capability, true to its original spirit. For those who were around to experience to experience the history made by previous Bronco generations, this is a long awaited return. And for those who weren't here to experience to Bronco in all its historic glory, this will be an exciting new level of capability for a new generation of off road enthusiasts. Bronco and SUV Legacy Making its debut in 1966, the Ford Bronco has always done it's namesake proud, an untamed animal with an independent attitude! The Bronco SUV became a legendary part of Ford's iconic lineup thanks to its capability, strength and adventurous spirit. When it went on hiatus, it had a loyal following off off-road enthusiasts who were sad to see it go. This passionate following welcomes the all new 2021 Bronco back with open arms! The term SUV has become so commonplace, you might not know that the Ford Bronco played a role in coining that term. There was no official SUV segment in the market before Ford used the term "sports utility" in one of their 1966 ads for the Bronco. Upon its arrival to the market, the Bronco was offered in 3 body styles: a Roadster with no roof or doors, a Wagon with full steel top and doors and the Half Cab - known as the Sports Utility - with a pickup bed. The Utility characteristics were highlighted by available accessories including a grille guard, snow plow package, winch, power take-off and a tarp. This off-road worthy vehicle was also marketed as "a new kind of sports car with 4 wheel drive," promising that the Bronco would take customers where the fun is. Bronco Racing Heritage The Ford Bronco also has a long held racing heritage. Baja is where it made a name for itself. Baja is know to represent greuling and unforgiving conditions, but it allowed the Bronco to make history in 1969. Fifty years ago, the #56 Bronco powered it's way to the finish line in the Baja 1000 (then known as the Mexican 1000). This was the first overall win for a 4wd vehicle in the 800+ mile journey through the desert. Typically, that overall victory would have been reserved for a custom built trophy truck or motorcycle. This success showcased the strong capability of the Bronco and placed it in the off road racing spotlight. Prior to the historic Baja 1000 win, two Ford Broncos (one powered by a v6 and one by a v8) entered the Riverside Grand Prix off-road race. Both Broncos took first place in their respective categories. Later, the Bronco continued to take the checkered flag in Baja races, including a 2wd version winning the recently formed Baja 500 in 1970. Big Oly, named after the Olympus Brewing Company, set a new time record for the Baja 1000 in 1971, clocking in at 14 hours and 59 minutes. For a littler perspective, the 1969 win was claimed with a time of 20 hours and 48 minutes! Finally, in 1972, the Bronco named Big Oly took another Baja 1000 win, with a story that seems fit for the movies. Only 15 miles away from the finish line, Big Oly ran out of fuel. Using a windshield washer hose and an empty tequila bottle, they were able to siphon some gas from a passing vehicle. Despite this setback, it still roared across the finish line to take home yet another off road racing victory! Made for All Terrains Dirt. Rocks. Snow. Mud. Ponds. Puddles. Sand. Dunes. These are the elements most drivers do their best to avoid. Off roaders, on the other hand, drive right through them with joy. Ford designed the all new 2021 Bronco for the latter crowd. The off roading experience that the Bronco is ready to tackle means something different in each part of the country, but one thing remains consistent: an adventurous spirit. Here in Loveland, CO and the surrounding mountain areas, the Bronco is ready to tackle mountain trails, rocks, streams, and anything else standing in the way of some of the most epic views Colorado has to offer. Get ready for your next adventure. The Bronco is ready to take you farther than ever before! Come back to LoveFord.com or call us at (970) 667-2220 after the official 2021 Bronco is unveiled on July 13 to reserve yours!

2021 Ford Bronco Coming July 13!

The long awaited, all-new 2021 Ford Bronco will be unveiled on July 13! We will begin taking reservations for it on that same day. We will keep you posted with the link on our website to place your reservation digitally. Or, you can simply give us a call at (970) 667-2220 to place your reservation over the phone. We don't yet know exactly how many two-door or four-door options will produced, so if you're interested in getting behind the wheel, a reservation is the way to go. The Bronco is anticipated to be the hottest truck of the coming year, so getting your hands on one might be tough without planning ahead. Spy footage of it's off-road capabilities are impressive, as are rumors about the tech packed in to make off-roading even more efficient and exciting. Technical details will be released during the unveiling on the 13th, but we do know it will be built on the same frame and in the same Michigan factory as the Ford Ranger pickup. Check out the teaser below to get a first look! This is a pre-production model, but based on the first official photos above (the outer two images), the general shape looks very similar to the teaser.

The Beloved Ford F-150 Is Better Than Ever in 2019

A good pickup truck should give you the best of both worlds. On the one hand, you want a truck that’s rough and rugged, able to hold up well during a long day of towing, hauling, or off-road adventuring. At the same time, you want a truck that feels comfortable and modern, with a cabin you’ll enjoy spending time in as you ride around town. The 2019 Ford F-150 is just such a pickup, perfectly suited for work and play. There’s a reason the F-150 is perennially one of the best-selling vehicles in America, and we’d argue that the Ford team has outdone themselves with this latest iteration. Find out for yourself when you come down to Loveland Ford, and take the new F-150 out for a test drive. In the meantime, here’s a quick rundown. Reviewing the 2019 Ford F-150 A Workhorse The first thing to know about the new Ford F-150? It’s truly a workhorse. This truck boasts high towing and payload capacities, making it dependable to have when you’re on the job. In fact, you can haul up to 2,309 lbs. when properly equipped, which is nothing to sneeze at. When it comes to hauling — either in the bed or in a trailer — the Ford F-150 outperforms all other pickups in its class. Power and Performance When you choose a Ford F-150, you’ll have a number of engine options to pick from. What’s noteworthy is how all of these engine options balance power and fuel economy, giving you the vigor you’d hope for in a truck without sapping your gas tank. In fact, some of these trucks can achieve an estimated 30 mpg in combined fuel economy. Again, this outperforms many of the leading competitors. Safety First One more thing to note about the 2019 Ford F-150 is that it’s packed with some of Ford’s most advanced safety features, ensuring you and your passengers are safe and sound whether you’re at work or at play. Some particular safety features worth noting include: Pre-Collision Assistance Automatic Emergency Braking Lane-Keeping Aid Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go Test Drive a 2019 Ford F-150 in Loveland, CO If you’ve been curious about what the latest Ford F-150 has to offer, we invite you to take the next step. Loveland Ford Lincoln New August 1st, 2019 - Weld County Fair

Loveland Ford Lincoln was a proud supporter of the Weld County Fair's Junior Livestock Sale again this year! We love attending this event and supporting the hardworking kids from 4H and FFA (Future Farmers of America). The kids learn discipline and practical life skills by working very hard year round to raise quality livestock. In turn, local businesses and individuals come together to purchase these animals from them. For the majority of these kids, that money goes into a college fund, so they can further their education. These great kids develop confidence, leadership skills, and learn the payoff of hard work. We're happy to be a part of that and plan to do so for years to come! Thank you to all the other buyers who came together to be a part of this amazing program. Next time you visit our service department, check out the wall of photos from previous years. We're so proud to highlight the kids we've met through this program over the years. If you'd like to see what it's all about for yourself, join us for the same type of sale at the Larimer County Fair on August 7th!

Loveland Ford Lincoln Gets a New Home

After more than 50 years at 999 E Eisenhower, we are so thrilled to announce that Loveland Ford Lincoln will be moving to a new home, just a few miles to the East, in the near future! As Northern Colorado's #1 volume Ford store, we are eagerly awaiting the move to a larger, upgraded facility so that we can serve our community more efficiently. Construction has not yet begun, so we don't have a move date to share just yet, but are excited to share the following upgrades that will be made: • 15 acres, compared with 5 acres now. • 57,000 square feet, compared with about 20,000. • 50 service bays, compared with 20. • Two separate showrooms, one each for Ford and Lincoln, with room for six cars inside, compared with space for one or two. • Room on the lot for about 900 cars, including customers' vehicles, compared with 300. Because of the cramped quarters at 999 E. Eisenhower, Weibel has been storing 250 to 300 vehicles on property he owns in north Berthoud. • An automated carwash, to wash every car that comes in for service, compared with having to wash 40 to 50 cars by hand each day. • Four bathrooms, compared with one. • Locker rooms for the mechanics. • Five times the space for parts. • An elevator for the two-story building. • A staff of about 100, compared with 77. "We need more mechanics; we need more parts people," Weibel said. • A lounge with beefed-up Wi-Fi service and computer counters where customers can work while they wait for their cars. • A "celebration bay" where a new car, prepped and ready to go out the door, is presented to the customers, who then spend time with an employee learning all about the vehicle. Fore more information  about our new store, check out this great write up from the Loveland Reporter-Herald!

Pastels on 5th 2018

Loveland Ford was a proud returning sponsor of Pastels on 5th yet again this year! If you're not familiar, Pastels on 5th is an annual fundraiser for Alternatives to Violence. This fantastic organization offers many resources to victims of domestic abuse, including an 8 bedroom safe house that will give refuge to approximately 8,030 individuals seeking safe shelter each year. We always sponsor this event and have some Ford related artwork on the sidewalk alongside all the other amazing local artists. This year, however, we decided to do something a little different and create our own canvas. With some help from our dealership employees, we were able to take a 2002 Ford Explorer and turned it into a giant chalkboard on wheels! Many of the kids in the community worked with us on our mobile chalk art at Pastels, and it was a huge hit. You can see the chalked up car at our dealership... at least until the rain washes it away! We've decided to take our support of Alternatives to Violence one step further this year and raffle the chalkboard car off to raise even more money for this great cause. Tickets will only be $10 and 100% of ticket sales will go direct to Alternatives to Violence. The raffle drawing will happen on October 13th at Loveland Ford to help raise awareness for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. We'll have tickets available for sale that day, but ATV will start selling tickets soon throughout Loveland, so you'll have many different opportunities to get your ticket and show your support! Stay tuned, we'll have more information about exact ticket sale times and locations coming very soon!

Weld County Junior Livestock Sale

Loveland Ford General Manager, Josh Ingrim, and 4H member, George Graybill This year was the 100th anniversary of the Weld County Fair, so it has been a very exciting time in Greeley this week! Loveland Ford was proud to attend and support the Fair's Junior Livestock Sale on Monday. We love seeing the community come together to support the 4H members who have worked so hard all year raising their livestock. It's no easy task, and we're so proud of the kids who learn such discipline through the process of raising their animals. This year, we purchased 2 cows, a sheep, and a pig. All of the money spent goes directly to the kids. All of the meat from the livestock we purchased will be donated to the Weld County Food Bank. This program is such a great way to help the kids, while donating a large amount of quality food to those in need throughout Weld County. Check out this Greeley Tribune article for more highlights of this year's livestock sale.

Loveland Ford at the Greeley Stampede

We hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July! The Loveland Ford team was thrilled to be part of the Greeley Stampede's 97th annual Independence Day parade! Thank you to the hundreds of thousands who came out to celebrate the 4th and the Greeley Community with us! Our General Manager, Harry Johnston, and his family all rode together in the parade this year. We were proud to celebrate with the Greeley Community and announce that Harry has been elected the incoming Supreme Governor of the Loyal Order of Moose! This organization is a fraternal and service organization founded in 1888. Annually, members of the Moose conduct approximately $70 million worth of community service! We are so proud to have our General Manager be such an integral part of such an amazing organization. We also used the parade as an opportunity to thank everyone in Weld County for making Loveland Ford Northern Colorado's #1 volume sales leader for 3 years running. We couldn't do it without all of you, our loyal customers! Thanks again to everyone on the Greeley Stampede parade committee who made such a wonderful event possible. We were so happy to be a part of it and are already looking forward to next year! Fore more information on the 4th of July parade's impact on the community, check out this great article from the Greeley Tribune.
