Loveland Ford Lincoln Gets a New Home
After more than 50 years at 999 E Eisenhower, we are so thrilled to announce that Loveland Ford Lincoln will be moving to a new home, just a few miles to the East, in the near future! As Northern Colorado’s #1 volume Ford store, we are eagerly awaiting the move to a larger, upgraded facility so that we can serve our community more efficiently. Construction has not yet begun, so we don’t have a move date to share just yet, but are excited to share the following upgrades that will be made:
• 15 acres, compared with 5 acres now.
• 57,000 square feet, compared with about 20,000.
• 50 service bays, compared with 20.
• Two separate showrooms, one each for Ford and Lincoln, with room for six cars inside, compared with space for one or two.
• Room on the lot for about 900 cars, including customers’ vehicles, compared with 300. Because of the cramped quarters at 999 E. Eisenhower, Weibel has been storing 250 to 300 vehicles on property he owns in north Berthoud.
• An automated carwash, to wash every car that comes in for service, compared with having to wash 40 to 50 cars by hand each day.
• Four bathrooms, compared with one.
• Locker rooms for the mechanics.
• Five times the space for parts.
• An elevator for the two-story building.
• A staff of about 100, compared with 77. “We need more mechanics; we need more parts people,” Weibel said.
• A lounge with beefed-up Wi-Fi service and computer counters where customers can work while they wait for their cars.
• A “celebration bay” where a new car, prepped and ready to go out the door, is presented to the customers, who then spend time with an employee learning all about the vehicle.

The Brand New Lincoln Nautilus
The Nautilus sounds like a brand new vehicle in the Lincoln lineup, and it is… kind of. Lincoln took the previous generation MKX midsize crossover, redesigned it, added a new base engine, and gave it a new name. While it’s a similar fit into the lineup as the MKX was, there’s a lot new and different about the Nautilus.
The MKX was the brand’s best selling model, so the new name and redesign aren’t making up for a flop, rather improving on an already fantastic vehicle. The Nautilus offers a completely redesigned front fascia, with the latest Lincoln grille design that we’ve seen on other recent models. The new hood, fenders, rear lighting treatment, and front headlamps, with available LED adaptive lighting, give it a fresh and updated appearance.
The biggest change is under the hood. The base engine is now a turbo-charged 2.0L inline 4 cylinder as opposed to the previous 3.7L V6. Horsepower does drop a bit, now at 250, but you get an eight speed automatic transmission, offering a wider spread than the MKX’s six speed. You now get a well performing turbo and a fuel economy raise of 4 MPG in the city! If you prefer the V6, you can step up from the base model for a twin turbo-charged 2.7L V6, pushing out 335 horsepower, and still paired with the eight speed transmission.
As for safety, we have many new options on the Nautilus, including the lane centering assist. While adaptive cruse control is engaged, the lane centering assist allows for brief moments of hands free driving. You can also get evasive steering assist and post collision braking. Other standard features include blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and automated emergency braking.
The 2019 Ford Ranger has Arrived!
The once beloved Ford Ranger has been missed by mid-sized pick-up truck lovers since 2011, but it has finally made its return to the US market. We just received our first one, an XLT trim level, at Loveland Ford! Ford did a great job modernizing this truck for 2019, both inside and out. Under the hood is a 2.3L turbocharged 4 cylinder engine, which produces 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft torque. The 4WD version has just shy of 9 inches of ground clearance, while the rear wheel drive version has 8.4 inches. Both versions of the truck have electronically locking rear differentials. The 4×4 keeps the front diff open.
The truck is built for off road enthusiasts with a terrain management system that allows the driver to select mud and rut settings, sand settings, or snow, grass and gravel settings. Based on the setting you select, the system will automatically adjust the ABS system, throttle, traction control and stability.
The 2019 Ranger offers many of the Ford safety features you’ve come to know and love, including lane departure warning and assist, automatic emergency braking, and blind spot monitors that even have trailer coverage. Speaking for trailers, with the tow package option, the Ranger is rated to haul 1,860 lbs in the bed or tow 7,500 lbs.
