Northern Colorado weather is nothing if not dramatic. One minute you are enjoying a crisp, bluebird day hiking Devil’s Backbone, and the next, a squall is dumping snow over the foothills. Living here requires a vehicle that doesn’t just tolerate these rapid fluctuations but thrives in them. At Loveland Ford, we understand the specific demands of driving in Larimer County because we live here, too. Whether you are navigating the morning rush on I-25 or packing up for a weekend of camping in Rocky Mountain National Park, we have the expertise to help you select the perfect partner for the road ahead. Our team is dedicated to finding a vehicle that fits seamlessly into your life. We are uniquely qualified to guide you through this process; learn more about our commitment to the community on our About Us page.

Key Takeaways (TL; DR)

  • Built for Northern Colorado Winters: The 2026 Ford lineup features intelligent 4WD and AWD systems designed to handle icy patches on Highway 34 and deep snow in the high country.
  • Versatility for Active Lifestyles: From the nimble, city-friendly Escape to the massive, gear-hauling Expedition, there is a Ford SUV designed for every Loveland resident.
  • Safety Comes Standard: Every model includes Ford Co-Pilot360™, offering extra protection whether you are driving near Boyd Lake or commuting to Fort Collins.
  • True Off-Road Capability: The Bronco family isn’t just for show; these vehicles are engineered to dominate the rugged trails of the Front Range.
  • Stay Connected and Warm: Features like remote start via FordPass® and heated seats make frosty mornings in Loveland far more manageable.
  • Smart Long-Term Value: Ford vehicles are known for their durability and strong resale value, backed by data from trusted sources like Kelley Blue Book, ensuring your investment lasts.

Why Are Ford SUVs the Logical Choice for Loveland Drivers?

Can these vehicles really handle our unpredictable weather?

Absolutely. Winters in Loveland can bring heavy snow and slick ice, while our springs often involve mud and rain. Ford engineers its SUVs to manage exactly these kinds of adverse conditions. It isn’t just about having four-wheel drive; it is about how that system reacts when you hit a patch of black ice on Wilson Avenue or try to navigate a slushy parking lot at The Promenade Shops at Centerra. Ford’s available Intelligent 4WD systems constantly monitor wheel speed and throttle position, transferring power to the wheels with the most grip before you even realize you are losing traction.

Beyond the drivetrain, features like the “Slippery” drive mode adjust throttle response and transmission shift points to help you maintain control on slick surfaces. Heated seats and steering wheels—available on most trims—turn a freezing morning commute down Eisenhower Boulevard into a cozy experience. When you combine this engineering with the long-term reliability praised by Consumer Reports, you get a vehicle that doesn’t shy away from a Colorado storm.

Do they offer enough space for local families and outdoor gear?

Space is critical, especially when you are hauling ski gear to Eldora or loading up kayaks for a day at Horsetooth Reservoir. Ford SUVs are designed with smart interior layouts that maximize every inch of cargo room. The Ford Explorer and Expedition offer flexible seating configurations, allowing you to fold down seats to fit camping equipment or a week’s worth of groceries from King Soopers. Even smaller models like the Escape use clever storage solutions to ensure you never have to leave your hiking boots or backpacks behind.

How Does Ford Ensure Reliability and Toughness?

Buy Sell Finance Lease3 - Buying/Finance

What is the substance behind “Built Ford Tough”?

This phrase represents a rigorous engineering standard, not just marketing fluff. Before a 2026 model ever arrives at our dealership in Loveland, it endures testing that far exceeds typical daily use. Prototypes are exposed to temperature extremes from -40°F to 120°F, ensuring that the electronics won’t fail during a heatwave in July or a deep freeze in January.

Engineers drive these vehicles over punishing surfaces that simulate potholes worse than anything you might find on a rural county road. They tow heavy loads up steep grades to verify transmission durability, ensuring they can handle the climb up Big Thompson Canyon without overheating. This dedication to resilience is why you see so many older Fords still running strong around Northern Colorado. When you buy a Ford, you are getting the result of millions of miles of torture testing.

What Safety Features Will Protect Me on I-25?

Is advanced safety technology standard?

Yes, and for the 2026 model year, it is more advanced than ever. Ford believes safety shouldn’t be an optional extra, which is why Ford Co-Pilot360™ comes standard. This suite of technologies acts as a vigilant second set of eyes, constantly scanning the road around you.

  • Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking: This system watches the road ahead. If traffic on I-25 suddenly slows down near the Loveland exit and you don’t react quickly enough, the system can alert you and even apply the brakes to help avoid a crash.
  • BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System): Changing lanes during rush hour can be stressful. This feature alerts you if a vehicle is in your blind spot, adding a layer of confidence on multi-lane highways.
  • Lane-Keeping System: If you start to drift out of your lane without signaling—perhaps due to a distraction or high winds—this system can gently steer you back toward the center.
  • Rear View Camera: Backing out of a tight spot at the outlets is much easier when you have a clear view of what is behind you.
  • Auto High-Beam Headlamps: On dark roads heading toward Estes Park, these lights turn on automatically to improve visibility, then dim instantly when oncoming traffic appears.

For more details on vehicle safety ratings, you can always visit the NHTSA website.

How Do 2026 Models Balance Power and Efficiency?

Can I save money at the pump without sacrificing performance?

The days of choosing between fuel economy and mountain-climbing power are over. Ford’s EcoBoost® engines use turbocharging to deliver the torque of a larger engine with the fuel efficiency of a smaller one. This means you can merge confidently onto Highway 34 without watching your fuel gauge drop rapidly.

For those looking to stretch their budget further, Ford’s hybrid lineup is exceptional. The Escape Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid use regenerative braking to recharge the battery while you drive, perfect for stop-and-go traffic in downtown Loveland. These powertrains offer a seamless transition between gasoline and electric power, providing efficiency that rivals any competitor in the segment.

Which Models Retain Their Value Best in Colorado?

Buy Sell Finance Lease3 - Buying/Finance

Is a Ford SUV a sound financial decision?

Depreciation happens to every vehicle, but some resist it far better than others. The Ford Bronco continues to be a standout, holding a high percentage of its value due to huge demand and its unique off-road capabilities that are perfect for our region. It is an iconic vehicle that Colorado drivers genuinely want.

Similarly, the Explorer and Expedition are known for strong resale values. Families are always looking for reliable, three-row SUVs, keeping demand high in the pre-owned market. By maintaining your vehicle with regular service, you are protecting an asset that will pay off when you eventually decide to upgrade. You can track value trends on trusted sites like Edmunds.

What Tech Features Will I Use Every Day?

How does Ford keep me connected?

Modern driving is all about staying connected. The 2026 Ford lineup integrates technology that simplifies your life rather than complicating it.

  • SYNC® 4 Technology: The center of the dashboard is a large touchscreen that works as intuitively as your smartphone. With wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, your maps, music, and messages are instantly accessible without fumbling for cords.
  • FordPass® Connect: Imagine starting your car from your kitchen while you finish your coffee on a freezing February morning. With the FordPass® app, you can lock, unlock, and remote start your vehicle from anywhere. It also includes a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot to keep passengers entertained on long drives.
  • Ford BlueCruise: On qualified sections of divided highways, like parts of I-25, this available feature allows for hands-free driving. It manages steering, braking, and acceleration, reducing fatigue on trips to Denver or Cheyenne.
  • 360-Degree Camera: This available system provides a bird’s-eye view of your SUV. It is incredibly helpful for navigating tight parking spots or maneuvering around rocks on a trail near Carter Lake.

The 2026 Ford SUV Lineup: A Detailed Examination

We have broken down the 2026 lineup to help you identify which model fits your specific needs in Loveland and the surrounding areas.

Ford Escape

The Escape is the Swiss Army knife of the lineup. It is compact enough to parallel park easily on 4th Street but spacious enough for a weekend trip to Steamboat Springs. It is an ideal choice for commuters and small families who want versatility without the bulk of a large truck.

  • Active™: The entry point offers tremendous value. You receive the full safety suite, a power liftgate for easy loading, and dual-zone climate control to keep everyone comfortable.
  • ST-Line: This trim introduces a sporty aesthetic. With a black mesh grille, unique badging, and a rear spoiler, it looks fast even when parked.
  • ST-Line Select: Stepping up to this trim adds more substance to the style, including heated front seats and a remote start system—essential for our winters.
  • ST-Line Elite: This is where technology meets sport. It features a larger touchscreen, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera for maximum awareness.
  • Platinum: The top-tier luxury trim. Expect premium ActiveX™ trimmed seats, a digital instrument cluster, and refined interior materials that make every drive feel special.
  • Plug-in Hybrid: For the eco-conscious driver, this model offers the ability to drive on electric power alone for short distances. You could potentially commute to work and back without using a drop of gasoline.

Ford Bronco Sport

Do not let the size fool you; the Bronco Sport is a serious adventure machine. It shares a platform with the Escape but is engineered for the trail. With standard 4×4 and a taller roofline, it is perfect for active Loveland residents who spend their weekends hiking, biking, or fishing.

  • Big Bend®: The adventure begins here. It comes with an easy-to-clean interior (perfect for muddy paws after a hike) and a specialized roof rack system for your gear.
  • Heritage: A nod to history. This trim features an Oxford White roof and a classic grille with red lettering, bringing retro 1960s style to modern engineering.
  • Free Wheeling™: If you love the 70s, this is your ride. Sunset-colored graphics and bright red wheel accents make this the most visually distinct SUV on the road.
  • Outer Banks®: Rugged meets refined. You get the off-road capability but with leather-trimmed seats and a heated steering wheel for a more comfortable daily drive.
  • Badlands®: The most capable Bronco Sport. It features an advanced twin-clutch 4WD system, metal skid plates, and all-terrain tires. It is ready for serious trails right off the lot.

Ford Bronco

This is the icon. The Ford Bronco is for those who want no limits. With doors and a roof that can be removed, it offers an open-air experience unlike anything else. Whether you are cruising around Lake Loveland or climbing rocky paths in the high country, the Bronco is built to dominate. Check out MotorTrend for in-depth reviews on its capabilities.

  • Base: A blank canvas for customization. It gives you the essential 4×4 hardware and allows you to build your dream rig from the ground up.
  • Big Bend®: Adds creature comforts like a leather-wrapped steering wheel and LED fog lamps, making it a great balance of daily driver and weekend warrior.
  • Outer Banks®: Focuses on style and technology. Body-color fender flares and tube steps give it a sleek look, while the interior gets upgraded infotainment options.
  • Badlands™: The heavy hitter for rock crawling. It features a disconnecting front stabilizer bar for extreme wheel articulation and heavy-duty bumpers.
  • Heritage Edition®: Combines the modern capability of the Badlands or Big Bend with vintage styling cues like white wheels and a white grille.
  • Stroppe Edition®: A special edition honoring racing legend Bill Stroppe. It is built for high-speed desert running and features unique Code Orange paint accents.
  • Raptor®: The ultimate predator. With massive 37-inch tires, a widened stance, and a race-bred suspension, there is almost nothing this vehicle cannot drive over.

Ford Explorer: The New Tremor Era

The 2026 Explorer has transitioned from a family hauler to a high-tech off-road command center. The headline news for Loveland adventurers is the official retirement of the Timberline trim, replaced by the more capable 2026 Explorer Tremor.

  • Tremor (New for 2026): Replacing the Timberline, the Tremor is now the ultimate off-road flagship. It features an 8.7-inch ground clearance (a 1-inch lift over standard models), rugged steel underbody bash plates, and a Torsen® limited-slip rear axle. Unlike the previous Timberline, the 2026 Tremor can be equipped with the 400-hp 3.0L EcoBoost V6, making it the most powerful off-road Explorer ever built for the Big Thompson Canyon climbs.
  • BlueCruise 1.5: Standard on ST-Line, ST, and Platinum, this 2026 update adds Automatic Lane Change capability, allowing the Explorer to pass slower traffic on I-25 hands-free while you simply monitor the road.
  • Ford Digital Experience: Every 2026 Explorer now features the 13.2-inch touchscreen as standard, integrating Google Maps directly into your display—essential for navigating around weekend traffic jams near the Devil’s Backbone.

Ford Mustang Mach-E: Colorado-Ready Efficiency

For 2026, Ford has addressed the #1 concern for Northern Colorado EV drivers: winter range.

  • Standard Vapor Injection Heat Pump: New for the 2026 model year, every Mach-E trim now comes standard with a high-efficiency heat pump. Previously an option or limited to higher trims, this system preserves your battery range during freezing January mornings in Loveland by using significantly less energy to heat the cabin.
  • Standard Rear Door Handles: Based on customer feedback, the 2026 model adds physical pull-handles to the rear doors, making it much easier for kids to hop in after a day at the Loveland Sculpture Park.
  • GT & Rally Performance: The 2026 Mach-E Rally continues to dominate the foothills with its raised suspension and protective shielding, while the GT remains the choice for those who want 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds on the way to Fort Collins.

Ford Expedition & Expedition MAX: The Split Gate Revolution

The 2026 Expedition is redesigned to be the center of your outdoor life, but there are key differences in how the new features scale between the standard and MAX models.

  • The Ford Split Gate: Every 2026 Expedition features the new class-exclusive Split Gate. The top three-quarters lift up like a traditional SUV, while the bottom quarter folds down like a truck’s tailgate. It supports 500 lbs, serving as a perfect bench for changing out of hiking boots.
  • Expedition vs. Expedition MAX:
    • Standard Expedition: Best for maneuverability in downtown Loveland; it offers the highest towing capacity at 9,600 lbs.
    • Expedition MAX: Adds 12 inches of total length, expanding cargo space behind the third row to a massive 36 cubic feet. While it offers more room for gear, note that the MAX has a slightly lower max towing capacity of 9,000 lbs due to its increased curb weight.
  • 24-Inch Panoramic Display: Positioned at the base of the windshield, this eye-level cluster is standard across the 2026 lineup, keeping your navigation and safety alerts in your line of sight without your eyes leaving the road.

Which Ford SUV Fits Your Loveland Life?

Buy Sell Finance Lease3 - Buying/Finance

Best for City Commuting?

The Ford Escape Hybrid. Navigating the traffic and parking spots downtown or near the sculpture park is a breeze with its compact size, and the hybrid engine saves you money during stop-and-go driving on Eisenhower Boulevard.

Best for Road Trips?

The Ford Explorer. With plenty of room for luggage and cooler bags, plus a smooth highway ride, it makes the drive down to Denver International Airport or up to Wyoming comfortable for the whole family.

Best for Heavy Weather?

The Ford Bronco Sport Badlands. Its advanced 4×4 system and higher ground clearance give you the confidence to tackle unplowed roads and deep snow when a blizzard hits Northern Colorado.

Best for Towing the Boat?

The Ford Expedition. Whether you are launching at Boyd Lake or hauling a camper to the mountains, the Expedition’s towing capacity and torque are unmatched.

Best for True Off-Roading?

The Ford Bronco. If your idea of fun involves mud, rocks, and trails where pavement ends, the Bronco’s hardware is designed specifically to get you there and back.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the difference between the 2026 Bronco and Bronco Sport?

While they share a nameplate, they serve different purposes. The Bronco is constructed on a rugged truck frame with removable doors and roof, designed for intense off-roading and crawling over rocks. The Bronco Sport is built on a crossover platform, which provides a smoother ride on paved roads like Highway 287 while still offering impressive capability for dirt trails and snow. If you need a daily driver that handles camping trips, the Sport is excellent; for hardcore trail enthusiasts, the standard Bronco is the superior choice.

Can I charge a Ford Plug-in Hybrid at my home in Loveland?

Yes, charging at home is simple. You can plug the Escape Plug-in Hybrid into any standard 120V household outlet to recharge the battery overnight. If you want faster charging speeds, you can install a 240V outlet, similar to what you use for an electric dryer. You generally do not need to rely on public charging stations, making ownership very convenient for homeowners in the area.

Does the 2026 Ford Explorer have a hands-free liftgate?

Yes, many 2026 Explorer trims feature a hands-free, foot-activated liftgate. This is incredibly useful when your hands are full of groceries or ski gear. As long as the key fob is in your pocket or bag, you simply kick your foot under the rear bumper, and the hatch opens automatically for easy loading.

What is the recommended maintenance schedule for a new Ford SUV?

Modern Fords are designed to need less frequent service than older vehicles. Most 2026 models come with an “Intelligent Oil-Life Monitor” that tracks your engine’s condition and driving habits to tell you exactly when an oil change is needed. Typically, you can expect to visit the service department for routine maintenance roughly every 7,500 to 10,000 miles, depending on how you drive.

Choosing Your Loveland Ford Dealership: A Driver’s Guide

Author: Loveland Ford

At Loveland Ford, we understand that trading in your Ford Lincoln vehicle is more than just a transaction—it’s an opportunity to maximize your investment. With the stunning backdrop of the Rockies, many locals appreciate the towing capacity of Ford trucks for hauling kayaks to Lake Loveland or bikes to nearby trails. Whether you’re navigating the winter roads on U.S. 34 or commuting to Fort Collins, our team is here to help you get the best value when selling or trading your vehicle locally. Let us help you transition seamlessly to your next adventure.

Key Takeaways (TL; DR)

  • Maximize Value: Trading in your vehicle can significantly reduce the cost of a new Ford Lincoln, especially models like the F-150, which are in high demand for their reliability and towing capacity.
  • Local Market Trends: In Loveland, the market is favorable for well-maintained trade-ins, particularly pickups and SUVs, as residents frequently seek vehicles suited for outdoor adventures.
  • Vehicle Condition Matters: The better the condition of your trade-in, the more you’ll get back. Regular maintenance, like oil changes and tire rotations, can enhance its value.
  • Documentation is Key: Having all necessary paperwork, such as service records and the title, readily available can streamline the trade-in process and ensure you receive a fair offer.
  • Research Beforehand: Check the current market value of your vehicle using resources like Kelley Blue Book to set realistic expectations when trading in.
  • Timing Your Trade: Consider trading in during high-demand seasons, such as spring and summer, when the need for trucks and SUVs peaks among Loveland’s outdoor enthusiasts.

What Is the First Step in Selling My Ford Lincoln?

The first step is accurately determining your Ford Lincoln’s current market value. You can utilize online pricing tools like Kelley Blue Book or Edmunds to assess your vehicle’s worth based on its condition, mileage, and local market demand in Loveland.

Understanding the local market context is crucial. For instance, Ford Lincoln models, such as the F-150 or Explorer, tend to retain value better in regions with a high demand for trucks and SUVs. This is particularly true in the Loveland area, where residents often seek vehicles that can handle both urban commutes and weekend adventures in the nearby Rocky Mountain National Park.

Should I Trade My Ford Lincoln or Sell It Privately?

Buy Sell6 - Trade

Trading In Your Ford Lincoln

For many Loveland drivers, trading in your Ford Lincoln can be a straightforward choice. By opting to trade in, you can simplify the process of acquiring your next vehicle while potentially reducing your tax burden—Colorado allows you to only pay sales tax on the price difference between your trade-in value and the new vehicle’s price.

  • Convenience: Trading in can save time, allowing you to handle both selling and purchasing at once.
  • Tax Benefits: You may save on sales tax, which means less money out of pocket when purchasing your new Ford Lincoln.
  • Instant Value: You get an immediate offer based on your vehicle’s condition and market demand.
  • Less Hassle: No need to advertise or negotiate with private buyers.

Selling Your Ford Lincoln Privately

If you’re considering selling your Ford Lincoln privately, this route can often yield a higher sale price. Here’s what you need to know to make the process smoother:

  • More Money: You could potentially get more for your vehicle than a trade-in offer.
  • Control Over Sale: You set the price and negotiate directly with buyers.
  • Wider Audience: Listing online or in local classifieds reaches more potential buyers.
  • Time Investment: Be prepared for more time spent on the process, from listing to showing the vehicle.

How Do I Prepare My Ford Lincoln for Sale?

1. What Paperwork Should I Gather?

Gathering essential paperwork is crucial to facilitate a smooth sale. You’ll need your vehicle title, registration, service records, and any outstanding loan information. A vehicle history report can also enhance buyer confidence.

  • Title: Proves ownership and is necessary for the transfer process.
  • Registration: Confirms the vehicle is legally registered in your name.
  • Service Records: Shows maintenance history and how well the vehicle has been cared for.
  • Loan Information: Details any outstanding loans that may need to be settled.
  • Vehicle History Report: Provides transparency about past accidents or issues, building trust with potential buyers.

2. How Should I Clean My Vehicle?

A thorough cleaning can significantly impact the sale price of your Ford Lincoln. Start with an exterior wash and interior vacuuming. Consider professional detailing for a more thorough clean, as this can boost the vehicle’s appeal.

  • Exterior Wash: Removes dirt and grime, showcasing the vehicle’s condition.
  • Interior Vacuum: Cleans carpets and upholstery, enhancing overall appearance.
  • Window Cleaning: Ensures visibility and improves the look of the vehicle.
  • Detailing: A professional clean can address stains and odors, making your vehicle more attractive to buyers.
  • Tire Shine: Freshens up the tires, giving a complete polished look.

3. What Minor Repairs Should I Address?

Minor repairs can greatly enhance your vehicle’s value. Before selling, check fluid levels, tire condition, and ensure all lights and wipers are functioning properly. These small fixes can help you maximize your sale price.

  • Fluid Levels: Check and top off oil, coolant, and windshield washer fluid.
  • Tires: Ensure they are properly inflated and have sufficient tread for safety.
  • Lights: Test all headlights, brake lights, and turn signals for functionality.
  • Wipers: Replace worn wiper blades to improve visibility during rain.
  • Minor Cosmetic Fixes: Address scratches or dents to present a well-maintained vehicle.

What Documents Are Needed to Trade In My Ford Lincoln?

To successfully trade in your Ford Lincoln at Loveland Ford, you’ll need several key documents. These documents help establish your ownership and the vehicle’s condition, ensuring a smooth process for you and the dealership.

  • Title: This proves you own the vehicle outright, which is crucial for the trade-in process.
  • Registration: A current registration shows that your Ford Lincoln is legally allowed to be on the road.
  • Loan Information: If you still owe money on your vehicle, bring information about your loan to determine payoff amounts.
  • Service Records: Providing maintenance history can increase your vehicle’s value, demonstrating proper care.
  • Identification: A valid driver’s license is necessary to verify your identity during the trade-in.
  • Additional Keys: Including all keys and remotes can enhance the trade-in offer, as buyers appreciate full sets.

How Can I Maximize My Ford Lincoln’s Trade-In Value?

Sellbuycar7 - Trade

Maximizing your Ford Lincoln’s trade-in value involves thorough preparation and an understanding of the current market conditions. For instance, keeping your vehicle well-maintained and clean can significantly increase offers from dealerships. Additionally, researching comparable models and their values can help you negotiate a better deal. This is particularly important for Loveland residents who may want to leverage their vehicle’s features, like the spacious interior of a Ford Explorer for family trips to Benson Sculpture Garden or the towing capacity of a Ford F-150 for outdoor adventures.

To prepare effectively, consider these steps:

  • Clean and Detail: A clean vehicle attracts higher offers. Simple maintenance like washing and detailing can make a significant difference.
  • Gather Documentation: Keep service records, the vehicle title, and any warranties ready. This builds trust with potential buyers.
  • Understand Your Vehicle’s Worth: Check resources like Kelley Blue Book or Edmunds to assess your Ford Lincoln’s market value based on its condition and mileage.
  • Evaluate Local Market Trends: Know the demand for vehicles in Loveland. For example, with snowy winters, all-wheel drive models are often in higher demand.
  • Negotiate with Confidence: Use your research to negotiate effectively. Remember, “A good negotiation is not about winning; it’s about reaching a fair deal.”

By following these steps, you’ll be better positioned to secure the highest possible trade-in value for your Ford Lincoln, which can be crucial for those looking to upgrade before the harsh winter conditions set in around Loveland.

What Are the Final Steps in Trading In Your Ford Lincoln?

Completing a trade-in for your Ford Lincoln involves essential final steps to ensure both parties are protected and the process is smooth. You’ll want to focus on payment security, title transfer, and the release of liability to safeguard your interests.

Payment Security: Confirm that the payment method is secure before finalizing the trade-in. For instance, if you’re trading in your Ford F-150, ensure that the dealership provides a guaranteed form of payment, such as a bank check, which you can verify before handing over your keys. This step is vital for protecting yourself against potential fraud.

Title Transfer: The next step is to complete the title transfer. This involves signing over the title of your Ford Lincoln to the dealership, ensuring that you have cleared any outstanding liens. In Loveland, this process can often be done on-site, simplifying the paperwork for you and allowing you to drive away in your new vehicle sooner.

Release of Liability: Once the trade-in is finalized, it’s crucial to obtain a Release of Liability document. This document confirms that you are no longer responsible for any incidents involving the vehicle. For drivers in Loveland and nearby areas, having this document protects you from potential liabilities that could arise after the trade-in, especially if the vehicle is involved in an accident.

What factors affect my trade-in value the most?

Choosing Your Loveland Ford Dealership: A Driver’s Guide

Author: Loveland Ford

Choosing how to pay for your new Ford Lincoln at Loveland Ford is an important decision for local drivers. Whether you’re considering financing or leasing, understanding the benefits of each can help you make the right choice for commuting along I-25 or heading to the mountains. For instance, financing can be ideal if you plan to haul gear for outdoor adventures or need a spacious SUV for family trips to the Benson Sculpture Garden. Leasing, on the other hand, might suit those who prefer to drive a new vehicle every few years without the long-term commitment.

Key Takeaways (TL; DR)

  • Your Credit Score Matters: This key factor influences the interest rates and terms you’ll receive when financing a Ford Lincoln. A higher score typically results in lower costs over the life of your loan.
  • Financing vs. Leasing: Financing allows you to build equity in your Ford Lincoln over time, while leasing usually leads to lower monthly payments but means you won’t own the vehicle at the end of the term.
  • Local Programs Offer Savings: Special offers for college graduates, military personnel, and loyalty programs can help reduce your overall costs when financing a Ford Lincoln.
  • Preparation is Essential: Having your financial documents ready, checking your credit score, and setting a budget before visiting the dealership can streamline your financing process.
  • Lease-End Flexibility: At the end of your lease, you have options: purchase your vehicle, lease a different one, or return it, which can be beneficial based on your evolving needs.
  • Understanding Costs: Be aware of the total cost of ownership, including insurance, maintenance, and potential repair costs, especially for long drives from Loveland to nearby cities like Fort Collins or Denver.

Understanding Automotive Financing for Ford Lincoln Buyers

Automotive financing is a way to acquire your Ford Lincoln vehicle by securing a loan from a lender, such as a bank or credit union. This loan covers the vehicle’s cost, and you’ll repay it over time through monthly payments, which are spread out over a set loan term. For Loveland drivers, this means you can enjoy the benefits of your new Ford Lincoln while making manageable payments that fit your budget.

With each payment you make, you build equity in your vehicle, which is the portion of the car you own outright. Once you’ve paid off the loan, the lender will send you the title, officially making it yours. This is particularly advantageous for Loveland residents who appreciate long-term ownership, allowing for customization and the freedom of no mileage restrictions as you explore the scenic routes around Rocky Mountain National Park or commute along U.S. Highway 34.

Understanding Ford Lincoln Financial Services

Sell Buy9 - Buying/Finance

Ford Lincoln Financial Services provides a seamless financing experience for buyers, making it easier to purchase or lease your next vehicle. This service collaborates closely with Loveland dealerships to offer tailored financing solutions that suit various budgets and needs.

When you’re ready to explore options like the 2026 Ford F-150 or the 2026 Lincoln Corsair, you can apply for financing directly through us or start online for pre-approval. Keep in mind that financing offers will vary based on your credit profile, allowing you to find the best terms for your situation.

What Does It Mean to Lease a Ford Lincoln?

Leasing a Ford Lincoln is similar to renting a vehicle for a specific time, typically between 24 and 36 months. Instead of paying the full price of the vehicle upfront, you make monthly payments that cover the car’s depreciation—the difference between its initial value and its expected worth at the end of the lease, known as the residual value. You’ll also pay an interest charge, often referred to as the money factor, along with any applicable fees.

This arrangement generally results in lower monthly payments compared to financing the same vehicle outright. It’s an appealing option for drivers who enjoy having access to the latest features and technology without committing to long-term ownership. For example, if you frequently drive along busy routes like U.S. Highway 34, having a reliable vehicle with up-to-date safety features can significantly enhance your commuting experience.

What Are My Options When My Ford Lincoln Lease Ends?

When your Ford Lincoln lease comes to an end, you have three flexible options to consider that cater to your driving needs.

  • Buy Your Leased Ford Lincoln: Purchase your vehicle for its residual value as stated in your lease agreement.
  • Start a New Lease or Purchase: Turn in your current vehicle and explore new leasing or financing options available at Loveland Ford.
  • Return Your Vehicle: Schedule a thorough inspection and prepare for any potential excess wear or mileage issues before the turn-in date.

The fundamental difference between financing and leasing revolves around ownership. Financing results in ownership of the vehicle, while leasing allows you to use it for a predetermined period.

Feature Financing a Ford Lincoln Leasing a Ford Lincoln
Ownership Title transfers to you after the final payment. You return the vehicle to the lessor at lease end.
Monthly Payments Generally higher; based on the total vehicle price. Lower payments; based on expected vehicle depreciation.
Upfront Costs Often requires a down payment. First payment plus possible acquisition fees.
Customization Modification is allowed. Vehicle must be returned in its original condition.
Mileage No mileage restrictions. Annual mileage limits apply, with fees for excess.
Wear & Tear Excess wear can lower resale value. Fees may be charged for excessive wear and tear.
End of Term You can keep, sell, or trade the vehicle. Options include returning, buying out, or leasing again.

What Influences My Financing or Lease Terms?

Several key factors play a crucial role in determining the financing or lease terms you’ll receive for your Ford Lincoln vehicle.

  • Credit Score: A higher score can qualify you for more favorable interest rates, saving you money over time.
  • Down Payment: A larger down payment reduces the amount financed, which can lead to lower monthly payments and less interest paid overall.
  • Term Length: While longer terms can lower your monthly payments, they may increase the total interest paid over the life of the loan.
  • Vehicle Price/Type: The cost of your Ford Lincoln model, like an F-150 or Explorer, can significantly affect your financing options, especially if there are promotional offers available.
  • Debt-to-Income Ratio (DTI): Lenders assess your DTI to ensure you can manage your payments comfortably based on your current financial obligations.

Are There Unique Ford Lincoln Programs I Can Qualify For?

Ford Lincoln provides various special programs designed to make owning a vehicle more affordable for eligible customers.

  • Ford Lincoln College Graduate Program: This program offers incentives for recent graduates who can provide proof of graduation and employment.
  • Ford Lincoln Military Appreciation Offer: Eligible U.S. military members and their spouses can benefit from special offers.
  • Loyalty Benefits: Current Ford Lincoln owners can enjoy savings on select new models, making it easier to stay within the Ford family.
  • Regional Promotions: Local dealerships may offer time-sensitive deals tailored to the Loveland, CO area and its residents.

How to Apply for Ford Lincoln Financing or a Lease

Buy Sell Finance Lease7 - Buying/Finance

Getting started with your financing application is simple—initiate it online and complete the process at Loveland Ford.

  1. Get Pre-Qualified: Determine potential financing terms without impacting your credit score.
  2. Gather Documents: Compile necessary items such as your driver’s license, proof of income, residence verification, and insurance information.
  3. Complete Application: Submit a full application, which involves a hard credit inquiry.
  4. Review & Sign: Confirm details like APR, loan term, payment amounts, and any additional protections.

Is It Better to Pay Cash or Finance a Car?

Paying cash provides immediate ownership of your vehicle, such as a Ford F-150, without incurring any interest fees. However, it can significantly deplete your savings, potentially leaving you short on funds for emergencies or other expenses.

On the other hand, financing a vehicle allows you to keep your savings intact while spreading the cost over several months. This can be particularly beneficial for families in Loveland, as it allows for better cash flow management while still enjoying the benefits of a new Ford Explorer or Escape. Ultimately, the decision rests on your financial situation and comfort level with monthly payments.

What Are the Pros and Cons of Each Payment Method?

Explore the advantages and drawbacks of financing versus leasing to determine the best fit for your driving habits and vehicle ownership goals.

Pros of Financing a Ford Lincoln

  • You Own It: After the last payment, the vehicle is yours to keep, sell, or trade, allowing for full control over its future.
  • No Mileage Penalties: Enjoy the freedom to drive as much as you want without worrying about excess mileage fees.
  • Freedom to Personalize: Make modifications or add accessories, tailoring your vehicle to your preferences.
  • Build Equity: Each payment increases your ownership stake, which can be beneficial when it comes time to sell.
  • Long-term Savings: While monthly payments may be higher, owning the vehicle long-term can lead to more savings overall.

Cons of Financing a Ford Lincoln

  • Higher Monthly Payments: Financing typically incurs larger monthly payments compared to leasing options.
  • Maintenance After Warranty: As the vehicle ages, you’ll be responsible for any repairs once the warranty coverage expires.
  • Depreciation: The vehicle’s resale value will decline over time, impacting your investment.
  • Upfront Costs: Often requires a larger down payment compared to leasing.

Pros of Leasing a Ford Lincoln

  • Lower Monthly Payments: Lease payments are generally lower, making it easier to drive a new vehicle.
  • Newer Vehicles More Often: Leasing allows you to drive the latest models equipped with upgraded features every few years.
  • Fewer Repair Costs: Most leases cover the duration of the manufacturer’s warranty, minimizing out-of-pocket expenses for repairs.
  • Easy Turn-In: At the end of the lease, simply return the vehicle without the hassle of selling it.
  • Access to Luxury Features: Leasing can provide access to higher trims and technology that might be out of budget for purchase.

Cons of Leasing a Ford Lincoln

  • No Ownership: At the end of the lease, you don’t own the vehicle, meaning no equity is built.
  • Mileage Limits: Leases often come with mileage restrictions, and exceeding them can incur costly fees.
  • Wear and Tear Fees: Returning the vehicle in less than ideal condition may result in additional charges.
  • No Customization: Leased vehicles must be returned in their original condition, limiting personalization options.

What Are Some Practical Tips for Getting the Best Deal?

Buy Sell Finance Lease12 - Buying/Finance

Effective preparation and strategic timing can help you secure significant savings on your next Ford Lincoln purchase.

  • Check Your Credit First: Review your credit report for errors and resolve any discrepancies before applying for financing.
  • Compare Lenders: Gather quotes from both traditional banks and local credit unions as well as dealership financing to find the best rates.
  • Time Your Purchase: Consider shopping at the end of the month, quarter, or model year when dealerships may offer additional incentives to meet sales goals.
  • Negotiate Vehicle Price First: Focus on agreeing on the vehicle price before discussing financing or leasing terms to avoid confusion.
  • Understand Key Numbers: Familiarize yourself with important figures such as the cap cost, residual value, and money factor for leases, or the APR and total amount financed for loans.
  • Leverage Local Knowledge: If you’re familiar with Loveland’s traffic patterns, use that insight to negotiate based on your specific driving needs, such as safety features for winter commutes on U.S. Highway 34.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What credit score do I need for Ford financing?

While Ford works with a variety of credit profiles, higher scores generally unlock better financing options. A strong income and reasonable down payment can also enhance your chances of approval.

Is it hard to get approved by Ford’s captive lender?

Approval depends on your financial profile; top-tier rates may be more selective. Steady income, a manageable debt-to-income ratio, and a clean credit history can improve your chances.

Does Ford ever offer 0% financing?

Occasionally, Ford provides 0% financing on select new models for well-qualified buyers during special promotions or events, which can help you save significantly.

Can I negotiate the price on a lease?

Yes, the vehicle’s sale price is negotiable and directly impacts your monthly payment, allowing you to adjust the terms to better fit your budget.

When Ford reintroduced the Maverick in 2021, they didn’t just launch another truck—they created a phenomenon. The Ford Maverick Hybrid has quickly become America’s favorite compact pickup, and it’s easy to see why. This innovative vehicle bridges the gap between car-like efficiency and genuine truck capability, delivering exactly what modern drivers have been searching for.

Unbeatable Fuel Economy Without Compromise

The most compelling reason behind the Maverick Hybrid’s popularity is its remarkable fuel efficiency. With an EPA-estimated 42 MPG in the city, this pickup outperforms most sedans while still offering the versatility of a truck bed. For drivers tired of choosing between capability and economy, the Ford Maverick MPG numbers represent a game-changing solution. According to the U.S. Department of Energy, this makes it one of the most fuel-efficient pickups available today, helping families and businesses significantly reduce their fuel costs.

Right-Sized for Real Life

Unlike oversized trucks that feel cumbersome in parking lots and tight city streets, the Maverick Hybrid offers a practical footprint without sacrificing utility. The 4.5-foot bed handles weekend projects, sporting equipment, and everyday cargo with ease. Whether you’re loading mulch for your garden or hauling gear for a camping trip, this compact pickup delivers the functionality you need without the bulk you don’t want.

Smart Technology and Thoughtful Design

One of the standout features in any Ford Maverick Hybrid review is the truck’s intelligent design. The hybrid powertrain seamlessly blends a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor, producing 191 horsepower and delivering smooth, responsive acceleration. Inside, you’ll find modern amenities including Ford’s SYNC infotainment system, smartphone integration, and available driver-assist technologies that make every journey safer and more enjoyable.

Value That’s Hard to Beat

Perhaps most impressively, the Maverick Hybrid achieves all this at an attainable price point. Author: Loveland Ford

Keeping your Ford in peak condition is essential for navigating the varied and demanding driving conditions here in Loveland and across Northern Colorado. Your vehicle requires reliable, expert care to perform its best, whether you’re commuting down I-25 to Denver, heading for a weekend in the mountains near Estes Park, or simply running errands around Fort Collins. As a dealership with deep roots in the Loveland community, Loveland Ford has provided outstanding service for generations, giving us a unique perspective on what it takes to keep your Ford thriving on local roads. Choosing a Ford-certified service center is the single most important decision for your vehicle’s health, ensuring it receives specialized care from technicians who know its engineering inside and out.

Key Takeaways (TL; DR)

  • Altitude-Adjusted Expertise: Technicians trained directly by Ford have an unmatched understanding of how Colorado’s high altitude and dramatic weather shifts—from dry summer heat to icy winter storms—affect your specific model’s performance and engine calibration.
  • Proprietary Diagnostics Are More Accurate: Ford dealerships utilize the Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS), a factory-level tool that delivers more precise diagnostics and essential software updates than the generic scanners used at most independent shops in the Loveland area.
  • Authentic Parts Safeguard Your Vehicle: Using genuine Ford and Motorcraft® parts is the only way to guarantee a perfect fit, maintain your car’s factory-grade performance on Colorado roads, and protect your manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Specialized EV & Hybrid Service is Essential: The high-voltage systems in a 2026 Mustang Mach-E® or F-150® Lightning demand specific training and equipment that you will only find at a certified Ford service center.
  • Seasonal Maintenance Prevents Breakdowns: Preparing your Ford for Northern Colorado’s weather, like checking your A/C before a hot July and inspecting your 4WD system before the first major snowfall, helps you avoid costly and inconvenient repairs.
  • Documented Service History Boosts Resale Value: Maintenance performed at a Ford dealership is recorded in a national database, creating a trusted vehicle history that increases transparency and resale value, a factor often emphasized by resources like Kelley Blue Book.

Why Is Ford-Specific Training Crucial for Colorado Drivers?

Yes, this specialized knowledge is absolutely vital. The gap between a general auto mechanic and a Ford-certified technician is substantial, particularly given the sophisticated engineering within today’s Ford vehicles. A technician certified by the manufacturer has dedicated hundreds of hours to rigorous, hands-on training directly from Ford. This education is not a general overview; it is an in-depth exploration of the specific design, function, and repair methods for every system in your vehicle, from the advanced EcoBoost® engine in your 2026 Explorer to the complex 10-speed automatic transmission in your 2026 F-150.

This training is not a one-time event. Technicians in Loveland receive continuous education to stay current on the latest technical service bulletins (TSBs), recall information, and evolving repair techniques for each new model Ford introduces. This is especially important for vehicles equipped with modern technology. For example, the Ford Co-Pilot360™ suite of driver-assist features relies on perfectly aligned sensors and cameras. A general mechanic in Greeley or Longmont might have a basic understanding, but they lack the proprietary software and specific tools needed to correctly calibrate this system after a minor collision or windshield replacement. An incorrect calibration could make these crucial safety features unreliable on busy routes like US-34 or I-25.

For drivers across the Front Range, this level of expertise is indispensable. The daily commute often involves a mix of highway speeds and stop-and-go city traffic, placing unique demands on a vehicle’s powertrain, brakes, and cooling system. A Ford-certified technician understands precisely how these local conditions—including high altitude, which can affect engine performance and fluid dynamics—impact your specific model. They can perform tailored preventative maintenance to mitigate that wear and tear, ensuring your Ford remains a durable and efficient partner for navigating life in Northern Colorado.

What Services Are Essential for My Ford’s Health in Loveland, CO?

A premier Ford service department serves as a comprehensive care center for your vehicle, offering a complete range of services tailored to your model’s exact requirements. For drivers commuting from Fort Collins or living right here in Loveland, having a single, trusted location for all vehicle maintenance saves time and ensures a complete, accurate service history. This unified approach is fundamental to preserving your Ford’s performance, safety, and long-term value.

Here are the critical services you should expect from a certified Ford service center:

  • Scheduled Maintenance: This forms the bedrock of your vehicle’s health. It covers factory-recommended services like The Works® oil and filter change, thorough brake inspections, tire rotations, and topping off all essential fluids.
  • Hybrid and EV Expertise: With the increasing popularity of electrified Fords like the 2026 F-150 PowerBoost® Hybrid and the all-electric 2026 Mustang Mach-E®, specialized care is vital. This involves detailed battery health diagnostics, electric motor service, and maintenance of high-voltage systems performed by technicians with certified high-voltage safety training.
  • Advanced Diagnostic Capabilities: By using Ford’s proprietary Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS), our technicians can accurately identify and resolve issues with complex onboard electronics. This is crucial for addressing problems with SYNC® infotainment systems, powertrain control modules, and advanced driver-assist features.
  • Major Component Repairs: From complex engine overhauls and transmission rebuilds to suspension and drivetrain work, a certified center is equipped for any major mechanical task. Crucially, these repairs are completed exclusively with genuine Ford parts to ensure perfect compatibility and performance.
  • Comprehensive Tire Services: Proper tire care is key to safety and fuel efficiency, especially with the variable road conditions in our region. This includes professional mounting, precision balancing, rotations to extend tire life, and four-wheel alignments using equipment calibrated specifically for Ford vehicles.
  • Brake System Maintenance: Your safety depends on your brakes. Services must include meticulous inspections of pads, rotors, and calipers; replacement with genuine Ford parts; and brake fluid flushes to ensure your vehicle stops reliably every time.
  • Warranty and Recall Management: A certified service center automatically checks for any open recalls or Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) and performs the necessary work at no cost to you, keeping your Ford safe, updated, and compliant.
  • Climate Control Services: Full diagnosis and repair of your air conditioning and heating systems are critical for comfort during dry Colorado summers and frigid winters. This includes checking for leaks, recharging refrigerant, and ensuring all components function correctly.

How Does Advanced Technology Give Certified Centers an Edge?

The technological advantage is significant and directly influences the quality of care your Ford receives. Modern Fords are essentially powerful computers on wheels, filled with intricate software, sensors, and interconnected electronic modules. Premier service centers invest heavily in proprietary diagnostic tools and advanced equipment designed exclusively for the Ford lineup. This technological superiority results in more accurate diagnoses, more efficient repairs, and the assurance that your vehicle’s complex systems are being serviced correctly.

Most independent repair shops in the Loveland area cannot afford this level of investment. Their business model depends on servicing many different brands, making it financially impractical to acquire factory-level tools for each one. They often rely on generic equipment that cannot communicate effectively with Ford’s specialized systems.

Here is a closer look at that technological advantage:

Exclusive Diagnostic Software vs. Limited Independent Tools

Certified Ford dealerships use the Ford Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS). This is much more than a simple code reader. It is a factory-level software platform that communicates with every electronic module in your vehicle, allowing for deep diagnostics, crucial software updates, key programming, and precise calibration of features like the Lane-Keeping System or Pro Trailer Backup Assist™.

In contrast, an independent mechanic typically uses a generic OBD-II scanner. While useful for reading basic engine and emissions codes, these tools cannot access or reprogram the specialized Ford systems in newer models. They cannot recalibrate the forward-facing camera after a windshield replacement or update the powertrain control module (PCM) software for improved high-altitude performance—tasks that a certified technician performs routinely.

Verifiable Digital Service Records

Technology-forward dealerships log your service records directly into Ford’s national database, creating a permanent, verified history for your vehicle. This digital trail is invaluable for warranty claims, enhances resale value by proving meticulous maintenance, and ensures you are following your factory maintenance schedule. An independent shop might give you a paper receipt, but it lacks the same authority and seamless integration. For more information on vehicle ownership costs, authoritative sites like Edmunds offer helpful tools.

Streamlined Customer Experience

Dealerships also use technology to improve your service visit. This includes easy-to-use online scheduling portals, text message updates on your vehicle’s progress, and digital multi-point inspection reports sent directly to your phone. These reports often include photos and technician notes, letting you approve necessary work with complete transparency from anywhere. This level of digital convenience and integration is rarely found outside the dealership network.

How Can I Prepare My Ford for Colorado’s Four Seasons?

Driving in Loveland means your vehicle must withstand a demanding cycle of four distinct and often extreme seasons. The dry summer heat, the sudden grip of a winter blizzard, and the unpredictable nature of spring and fall place significant stress on your Ford’s most critical systems. Proactive, season-specific maintenance at a certified service center is the most effective way to ensure year-round reliability and durability. While a general mechanic can perform a basic check, a Ford-certified technician understands the specific vulnerabilities of your model to these local conditions.

Summer Preparedness in Loveland

When temperatures climb and the dry Colorado sun beats down, your Ford’s cooling system, tires, and battery are pushed to their limits. A certified technician will do more than just check your coolant level; they will inspect the entire system—hoses, radiator, and water pump—for signs of wear that could lead to an engine overheating during a traffic jam on I-25. They will also verify your tire pressure, as extreme heat can cause the air inside to expand, leading to over-inflation, uneven wear, and reduced traction on hot pavement. Battery performance can degrade quickly in high heat, and our technicians use specialized testers to assess its health before it fails you on a hot day.

Winter and Ice Readiness

Northern Colorado winters are unpredictable. Freezing temperatures, heavy snow, and black ice can create hazardous driving conditions in an instant. A pre-winter checkup is essential. It should focus on your battery, as cold temperatures can reduce its cranking power by up to 50%. We will also inspect your tires for sufficient tread depth to prevent sliding on icy roads and ensure your all-wheel-drive or 4×4 system is engaging correctly. This is especially important for models like the 2026 Bronco Sport or Explorer. Checking your windshield wipers for cracks, testing the washer fluid for the correct anti-freeze mixture, and verifying your heater and defroster are working properly are all vital steps for maintaining visibility and safety during a blizzard. Taking these proactive steps at a certified center helps prevent inconvenient and potentially dangerous weather-related failures. For more expert guidance on vehicle maintenance, trusted resources like Consumer Reports offer valuable insights.

What Are My Options for Handling Unexpected Repair Costs?

An unforeseen car repair can create significant financial strain, but it should not force you to make a difficult choice. A trustworthy service center understands this and should provide transparent, flexible solutions to help you manage the cost of getting your Ford back on the road safely. At Loveland Ford, we are committed to working with our customers to find a payment option that fits their budget.

Many modern dealerships now offer dedicated service financing programs. These plans are designed specifically for automotive repairs, allowing you to convert the cost of a major job into smaller, more manageable monthly payments. These programs often provide a much wiser alternative to placing a large, unexpected expense on a high-interest credit card.

When your service advisor presents you with an estimate for a necessary repair, do not hesitate to ask about the available payment plans. They can walk you through a simple and fast application process, which often provides a decision within minutes. This allows you to approve the work your vehicle needs without delay, ensuring your safety and your Ford’s reliability without disrupting your financial stability.

Which Questions Should I Ask My Service Advisor Before Approving Work?

To ensure you are making a fully informed decision and partnering with the right service center, it is wise to ask a few key questions before committing to any maintenance or repair. A transparent and confident service advisor at a dependable dealership will welcome your questions and provide clear, direct answers.

  • Are Your Technicians Specifically Ford-Certified?: You should inquire about their certification levels. Master Technicians represent the highest level of training and expertise from Ford Motor Company, which is especially important for complex jobs on a new 2026 F-150 Lightning or a high-tech 2026 Explorer.
  • Do You Exclusively Use Genuine Ford Parts?: Using Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts from Ford or its Motorcraft® brand is vital for upholding your warranty, ensuring reliability, and protecting your vehicle’s resale value. You should confirm that the dealership will not use aftermarket parts without your explicit approval.
  • Can You Describe the Diagnostic Tools You Use?: A certified Ford service center should proudly state they use the Ford Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS). This proprietary platform is far more powerful than the generic scanners used by most independent shops and is essential for accurate diagnostics on modern Fords.
  • Will I Receive a Written Estimate Before Work Begins?: To prevent surprise charges, always insist on a detailed quote that lists all anticipated parts, labor costs, shop fees, and taxes before you authorize any work.
  • What is the Estimated Time for Service, and What Are My Transportation Options?: Your time is valuable. It is important to ask about the expected turnaround time and whether the dealership offers complimentary loaner vehicles or a local shuttle service to help you navigate Loveland or nearby areas like Greeley.
  • How is My Service History Documented?: Your vehicle’s maintenance and repair records should be logged in Ford’s national digital database. This is critical for warranty claims and serves as proof of proper care when you decide to sell or trade in your vehicle.
  • What Warranties Do You Provide on Your Repairs?: A quality service center stands behind its work. Ford dealerships typically offer a robust 24-month/unlimited-mile warranty on most genuine Ford and Motorcraft parts and the labor involved, giving you valuable peace of mind.

What Is a Multi-Point Inspection and Why Is It Important?

A multi-point inspection is a thorough vehicle health check performed by a certified technician during every service visit. It is a proactive and systematic review of your Ford’s key systems and components, designed to spot potential issues before they escalate into major problems. Think of it as a routine physical for your vehicle. At a certified Ford service center, this inspection is a standard part of our commitment to your safety and your vehicle’s long-term durability on Colorado’s roads.

During a multi-point inspection, a technician methodically examines a long list of items, typically categorized by a color-coded system to make the results easy to understand:

  • Green: These components are in good condition and need no immediate attention.
  • Yellow: These items show some wear and may need to be addressed soon. This gives you time to plan and budget for the repair without pressure.
  • Red: These components require immediate attention as they may pose a safety risk or could lead to further, more expensive damage if ignored.

The inspection covers everything from fluid levels and brake pad thickness to tire tread depth and battery health. The technician will check belts, hoses, suspension components, and the exhaust system for any signs of wear, leaks, or damage. This comprehensive review provides a complete snapshot of your vehicle’s current condition. Following the inspection, your service advisor will present you with a clear, easy-to-read report, explaining their findings and recommendations. This process empowers you to make informed decisions about your vehicle’s care, ensuring you stay ahead of maintenance and enjoy confident, trouble-free driving around Loveland. You can find more information about vehicle safety ratings from organizations like the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

How Does All-Wheel Drive Benefit Me in Loveland?

All-wheel drive (AWD) is a significant advantage for drivers in Loveland and the surrounding areas, largely due to Colorado’s unpredictable weather. While many people associate AWD with tackling deep snow, its benefits extend to many other common driving situations you will face on local roads.

Ford’s Intelligent AWD systems, found in popular models like the 2026 Escape, Edge, and Explorer, constantly monitor traction and driving conditions. The system can automatically distribute power between the front and rear wheels to maximize grip before you even notice a slip. During a sudden spring downpour on US-34 heading towards Greeley, this translates to better stability and a reduced risk of hydroplaning. In the fall, when wet leaves cover neighborhood streets in areas like Fort Collins or Longmont, AWD provides the extra grip needed for confident acceleration and cornering.

Of course, the most noticeable benefit is during winter. When an unexpected snowstorm coats the Front Range, AWD can be the difference between getting stuck and getting home safely. It provides superior traction from a standstill, helping you pull away from icy intersections and navigate unplowed side streets around Benson Sculpture Garden. For Ford truck owners with 4×4 systems, like in the F-150 or Ranger, this capability is even more pronounced, offering the ruggedness needed for more demanding conditions, like a trip up the Big Thompson Canyon. Partnering with a service center that understands these systems ensures they are always ready to perform when you need them most. Further details about vehicle technologies can be found at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the advantage of using a Ford dealership for service in Loveland?

The primary benefits are localized expertise, proprietary technology, and the use of authentic parts. Technicians at Loveland Ford are factory-trained and understand how Colorado’s high altitude, weather, and traffic patterns affect your vehicle. We use diagnostic tools that independent shops in Loveland don’t have access to and install genuine Ford parts that protect your warranty and ensure peak performance.

How often should I get my Ford serviced in this climate?

You should always start with the maintenance schedule outlined in your owner’s manual. However, factors like frequent stop-and-go commuting in downtown Loveland, driving on mountain roads near Estes Park, or towing a trailer on I-25 might require more frequent service. A certified service advisor can help create a personalized schedule based on your unique driving habits in the Northern Colorado area.

Is dealership service more expensive than an independent shop in the Loveland area?

While some individual services might appear to cost more upfront, dealership service often provides better long-term value. The use of correct parts, accurate diagnostic procedures with tools like the IDS, and warrantied labor can prevent more expensive repairs down the road. Many dealerships, including Loveland Ford, also offer competitive pricing on routine maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations, making the value clear.

Can I get my Ford serviced at any Ford dealership if I’m traveling?

Yes, you can take your Ford to any authorized Ford dealership service center for maintenance, repairs, or warranty work. Your vehicle’s information, including its service history and warranty status, is accessible through a national database. This ensures you receive consistent and informed care no matter which Ford dealer you visit, whether you’re in Denver, Grand Junction, or across the country.

Driving in Northern Colorado is a unique experience. One minute you are cruising under the bright sun on I-25, and the next, you are navigating a sudden snow squall near the foothills. Whether you live right here in Loveland, commute to Denver, or manage a ranch out in Greeley, your vehicle is more than just transportation. It is a necessary tool for your lifestyle. At Loveland Ford, we understand the specific demands of the Front Range. Our deep experience in this region qualifies us to help you find a truck or SUV that can handle everything from the school run in Fort Collins to a camping trip in Rocky Mountain National Park. You can learn more about our local history and dedication on our About Us page

.

Key Takeaways (TL; DR)

  • Match the Engine to the Elevation: Driving at altitude saps power from standard engines; turbocharged EcoBoost options are often better for mountain driving.
  • Prioritize Winter Readiness: Features like heated seats, remote start, and dedicated snow modes are necessities, not luxuries, when living near Longmont or Loveland.
  • Test on Real Roads: Don’t just drive around the block; test the vehicle on highway on-ramps and hills to see how it handles the local terrain.
  • Understand Your Cargo Needs: Whether it’s hauling supplies from a hardware store in Greeley or skis to the mountains, measure the cargo space before you buy.
  • Use Verified Data: Start your research on the official Ford site and back it up with reviews from trusted third-party experts like Edmunds or Kelley Blue Book.
  • Check Safety Ratings: Look for top safety scores from the NHTSA to ensure your family is protected during unpredictable I-25 traffic.
  • Consider Fuel Efficiency: If you commute to Denver daily, a hybrid powertrain could save you significant money compared to a traditional gas engine.
  • Prepare Your Budget: Get pre-approved locally to understand exactly how much truck or SUV you can afford before visiting the lot.

Does the Northern Colorado Climate Require Special Features?

Is it worth picking a car specifically for the weather in Loveland? Absolutely. If you have spent even one year here, you know the weather does whatever it wants. We get over 300 days of sunshine, but we also get heavy spring snowstorms and icy mornings. A standard vehicle often struggles when the conditions get tough. You need a machine that handles the heat of July as easily as the frozen roads of January.

When a storm rolls off the Rockies and covers US-34 in snow, your drivetrain becomes your best friend. This is why Ford’s Intelligent 4WD and AWD systems are so critical for our area. These systems are found on vehicles like the 2026 Ford Explorer and the adventurous Bronco. They do more than just spin all four tires. They use sensors to check road conditions constantly. If you are driving up a slick hill near Horsetooth Reservoir and a wheel slips, the system sends power to the wheels that still have grip. This tech changes a scary drive into a confident one.

Our weather challenges aren’t limited to snow. Summer days in Fort Collins can get very hot. When your truck sits in the sun all day, the cab turns into an oven. Ford engineers have created smart ways to handle this.

  • Remote Start Systems: You can use the FordPass app to start your car from your phone. This lets the air conditioning cool the interior before you even walk out the door.
  • Ventilated Seats: On higher trim levels of the Edge or Expedition, the seats have small fans inside. They push cool air through the fabric to keep you comfortable on long drives to Denver.
  • Cold Weather Packages: This is a local favorite. Heated steering wheels and seats warm you up much faster than the main heater. It makes those zero-degree mornings much easier to handle.

How Do I Handle the I-25 Commute with Tech?

Traffic on the Front Range is getting heavier every year. The drive along I-25 between Fort Collins, Loveland, and Denver can be stressful. Merging onto the highway requires power and awareness. Sudden stops are common. You need a vehicle that acts as a second set of eyes. Ford Co-Pilot360™ technology is designed to help you manage these daily hazards.

Do these systems actually make driving safer? While you must always pay attention, these tools lower the chance of an accident. They warn you about dangers you might not see.

  • Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®): Changing lanes on a busy highway is dangerous if you can’t see clearly. BLIS® uses radar to watch your blind spots. If a car is hiding there, a light appears in your side mirror. This simple alert keeps you from merging into trouble.
  • Pre-Collision Assist: Traffic often stops suddenly near the Centerra shopping area. If you look away for a second, this system watches the road ahead. It warns you if you are closing in too fast on another car. If you don’t brake in time, the system can apply the brakes for you.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control: This is a game-changer for commuters. You set your speed, and the car maintains a safe distance from the vehicle ahead. If traffic slows down, your Ford slows down. It reduces the fatigue of stop-and-go driving.
  • Lane-Keeping System: On long drives or windy days, it is easy to drift. This system detects the lane markers. If you start to wander without a turn signal, it alerts you. It can even gently steer the wheel to keep you centered.

Which Ford Model Fits Your Local Lifestyle?

Choosing the right vehicle starts with looking at your life. The Ford lineup is huge. It goes from efficient SUVs to powerful work trucks. To pick the right one, think about what you do every day in Loveland.

Do you commute to an office in Longmont or Denver? If so, gas mileage is likely your top concern. You want something easy to park and cheap to run. The 2026 Ford Escape Hybrid or the compact Maverick truck are great options. They fit easily into parking garages and use less fuel in city traffic.

Is your life focused on work and heavy lifting? For those in Greeley or on the outskirts of town, a truck is often a necessity. The Ford F-150 is the standard for a reason. It has the power to tow trailers and haul equipment. If you need even more power for a large horse trailer or heavy machinery, the Super Duty line is built for that exact purpose.

Do you live for the weekends? If you spend your free time hiking at Devil’s Backbone or fishing, you need space for gear. The Ford Bronco Sport is rugged enough for dirt roads but small enough for town. For bigger families, the Expedition offers three rows of seats. You can fit the kids, the dogs, and all the camping gear inside.

Separating Needs from Wants

It is fun to look at all the fancy features. To make a smart buy, write down what you truly need versus what you just want.

Essential Needs:

  • Drivetrain: If you live on a steep road or have a long driveway, 4WD or AWD is a must-have for winter.
  • Seating: Be honest about how many people you carry. If you drive the carpool, you need that third row.
  • Towing Capacity: If you own a camper, check its weight. Make sure the vehicle is rated to tow it safely through the mountains.
  • Clearance: Higher ground clearance helps if you drive on unpaved roads or through deep snow.

Nice-to-Have Wants:

  • Sunroof: A panoramic roof is nice for mountain views, but it doesn’t change how the car drives.
  • Premium Audio: A high-end sound system is great, but the standard speakers are usually very good.
  • Appearance Packages: Big wheels and special badges look cool, but they don’t add function.

Where Can I Find Accurate Data on 2026 Models?

You should never guess when buying a car. Before you visit a dealership, gather your facts. Knowing the specs and prices puts you in control.

Your first stop should always be the manufacturer’s website. Ford has the official details for the 2026 lineup. You can see the engine power, towing charts, and available colors. Their build tool lets you see how different options change the price.

Which sites offer the best independent reviews? After looking at the specs, read what the experts say. These third-party sites test cars to see how they perform in the real world.

  • Kelley Blue Book (KBB): Use KBB to check prices. Their “Fair Purchase Price” tool tells you what other people in Northern Colorado are paying for the same car. This helps you know if you are getting a fair deal.
  • Edmunds: This site offers deep reviews. Their experts drive the cars for weeks to find the pros and cons. They often point out things you might miss on a short test drive.
  • Consumer Reports: If you care about reliability, look here. They survey thousands of owners to see which cars hold up over time.
  • NHTSA: Safety is key. This government agency runs crash tests. Look for a 5-star overall rating to ensure the best protection.
  • IIHS: This institute does even tougher crash tests. They check headlights and safety tech. A “Top Safety Pick” award means the vehicle is one of the safest on the road.

What Underrated Features Matter in Loveland?

Modern Fords are full of small features that make life easier. These engineering touches are often overlooked, but you will appreciate them every day.

SecuriCode™ Keyless Entry Keypad: This is a feature you mostly find on Ford vehicles. It is a keypad on the driver’s door. If you go for a run or a hike and don’t want to carry keys, you can lock them inside. When you get back, just type in your code to unlock the door. It is incredibly convenient for outdoor lovers.

Easy Fuel® Capless Filler: Standing at a gas pump in the wind is no fun. This system gets rid of the gas cap. You just open the door and put the nozzle in. It keeps your hands clean and saves time. It also stops the “Check Engine” light from coming on due to a loose cap.

Pro Power Onboard: Available on F-Series trucks, this turns your vehicle into a generator. You can plug in power tools at a job site or run a slow cooker at a tailgate. It is also very useful if the power goes out at your house during a storm.

Rotary Gear Shift Dial: By using a dial instead of a big stick shift, Ford opens up space in the center console. This gives you more room for your phone, coffee, and other items. It makes the cabin feel bigger and less cluttered.

Power Liftgate: When your hands are full of groceries or gear, opening the trunk is a hassle. A power liftgate opens with the push of a button or a kick under the bumper. It makes loading up much faster.

How Should I Plan My Test Drive?

A test drive is not just a joyride. It is an interview. You need to make sure the car fits your life. Don’t just drive it around the dealership lot.

Test the Engine Power:
Make sure the engine is strong enough. If you are looking at an Explorer, drive both the standard engine and the upgraded one. If you plan to tow or drive in the mountains, you will want the extra power.

Pick the Right Route:
Drive on different types of roads. Get on US-34 to see how it handles highway speeds. Listen for wind noise. Then, drive through a neighborhood in Loveland to test the brakes and suspension. Go over some bumps to see if the ride is smooth.

Check the Visibility:
Sit in the driver’s seat and look around. Can you see out the back window? Are the pillars blocking your view? Adjust the mirrors and make sure you feel comfortable.

Try the Tech:
While you are parked, play with the screen. Connect your phone. Is it easy to change the radio station? Is the navigation clear? If the system is hard to use now, it will annoy you later.

Parking Test:
Go to a parking lot and try to park the car. This tests the turning radius and the backup camera. If the vehicle feels too big or hard to maneuver, it might not be the right choice for you.

Seat Comfort:
You will spend a lot of time in these seats. Make sure they are supportive. Adjust the lumbar support. If you aren’t comfortable after ten minutes, you won’t be comfortable on a road trip.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How does altitude affect engine performance in Colorado?

Standard gas engines lose power as you go higher in elevation because the air is thinner. For every 1,000 feet of elevation, a non-turbo engine loses about 3% of its power. In Loveland and the mountains, this adds up. Ford EcoBoost® engines use turbochargers to force air into the engine, which helps maintain power even at high altitudes. This makes them a popular choice for local drivers.

What is the difference between 4WD and AWD for Loveland roads?

While both help with traction, they work differently. All-Wheel Drive (AWD) is usually always on and works well for light snow and rain on paved roads. It is great for cars and SUVs like the Escape. Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) is more robust and is often found on trucks like the F-150 and Bronco. It is better for deep snow, off-roading, and heavy-duty work. For most commuters, AWD is sufficient, but if you go off-road, you might want 4WD.

Can I factory order a Ford if I don’t see the one I want?

Yes, you can order a vehicle directly from the factory. This lets you pick the exact color, engine, and features you want. You don’t have to pay for options you don’t need. It takes a little longer to arrive, but you get a car that is built just for you. This is becoming a very common way to buy a new Ford.

Do I need snow tires if I have a 4WD Ford?

Four-wheel drive helps you get moving, but it doesn’t help you stop. Snow tires have a special rubber compound that stays soft in freezing temperatures, giving you better grip for stopping and turning. While 4WD is a huge help, many safety experts in Colorado recommend winter tires for the best safety on icy roads. An all-season tire is often a compromise, whereas a winter tire is a specialist.

Key Takeaways (TL; DR)

  • Regional Expertise is Non-Negotiable: The best dealerships understand Northern Colorado’s specific driving challenges, from sudden winter blizzards to high-altitude performance needs.
  • Certified Service Protects Your Investment: Opting for a service center with Ford-trained technicians and genuine OEM parts is vital for your vehicle’s performance, safety on Colorado roads, and warranty integrity.
  • Digital Convenience is Standard: Leading dealerships offer a seamless online experience with a live, accurate inventory, transparent pricing, and robust digital tools for financing and service scheduling.
  • Inventory Quality Outweighs Quantity: A superior dealership offers a curated selection of new and Ford Blue Advantage certified pre-owned vehicles, all presented with detailed online listings, high-resolution photos, and specific package information.
  • Facility Quality Reflects Customer Commitment: A clean, accessible, and modern facility, complete with amenities like EV charging stations, signals a dealership’s serious investment in a top-tier customer experience.
  • Reputation is Built on Community Trust: A dealership’s standing within the Loveland, Fort Collins, and Greeley communities, verified by customer feedback and local engagement, is the most reliable measure of its quality.

How Can You Verify a Ford Dealership’s Reputation in Loveland?

You can confirm a dealership’s standing by examining clear evidence of its quality, community trust, and a firm commitment to the customer. Not all dealerships operate with the same level of integrity. To find a truly reliable automotive partner along the Front Range, you need to look beyond flashy advertising and assess their local reputation, official credentials, and dedication to transparent business practices.

What are the signs of a trustworthy dealership?

A dependable partner makes sure its qualifications and customer feedback are easy to find and simple to verify.

  • Positive Online Reviews: Reputable platforms like Google, DealerRater, and Edmunds offer a transparent view of a dealer’s performance. Look for consistently high ratings and read detailed reviews from customers in Loveland, Fort Collins, and Longmont who share their sales and service experiences.
  • Official Ford Credentials: You should confirm that the dealership is Ford Blue Oval Certified. This is a distinguished award that indicates the dealer has met Ford’s highest standards for customer satisfaction, sales procedures, and service quality.
  • Transparent Online Pricing: A dealer’s website must provide clear, upfront pricing for every vehicle. This includes the MSRP, any available discounts, and all associated fees, without forcing you to submit personal information just to see the final price.
  • An Experienced and Stable Team: A dealership with low staff turnover, especially among its service advisors and master technicians, often signifies a well-managed business that values its employees. This positive internal culture almost always translates into a better customer experience.
  • A Helpful Digital Presence: A modern dealership should have a mobile-friendly website with an accurate, live inventory feed. It should also provide online service scheduling and digital financing tools that let you handle research from the comfort of your home.
  • An Active Community Presence: Dealerships that sponsor local events, like those supporting the Loveland Corn Roast Festival or local youth sports leagues, show a real investment in the community’s success. This focus on relationship-building often extends to how they treat every customer.

What important questions should you ask before choosing?

Asking direct questions can reveal a lot about a dealership’s operational standards and its philosophy on customer care.

  • Are your service technicians factory-certified by Ford, and do they get continuous training on the latest models, including the PowerBoost hybrid and all-electric vehicles like the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning?
  • Do you offer online tools for getting a trade-in valuation and financing pre-approval to streamline the buying process?
  • Is your online vehicle inventory updated in real-time to reflect what is physically on your lot today?
  • Do you have the specialized diagnostic equipment and trained technicians required to service the advanced systems in the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning?
  • What warranties come with the service work you perform and the genuine Ford parts you install?

A dealership that provides clear, confident, and direct answers to these questions is one that likely prioritizes your long-term satisfaction.

How Do a Dealership’s Location and Facility Affect Your Experience?

The answer is that they have a major impact on both the convenience of vehicle ownership and your overall perception of the dealership’s commitment to quality. While digital tools have changed how we shop for cars, the physical dealership remains an essential hub for test drives and, most importantly, vehicle service. For drivers managing the daily commute down Highway 34 or running errands around Loveland, a conveniently located and well-maintained facility makes a huge difference.

Why is physical accessibility so vital for Northern Colorado drivers?

  • Ease of Access: Is the dealership easy to get to from major local roads like I-25 or Eisenhower Boulevard? A conveniently located dealer saves you valuable time, whether you’re driving from Greeley for a test drive or dropping off your vehicle for service on your way to work in Fort Collins.
  • Simple Entry and Exit: A well-designed lot has clearly marked entrances and exits that don’t force you into complicated or dangerous traffic situations. The layout should feel intuitive, guiding you to the right department without any confusion.
  • Organized and Ample Parking: Enough customer parking is a basic yet crucial feature. A dealership that makes you hunt for a spot sends a clear signal that it doesn’t prioritize a stress-free visit for its customers.
  • Dedicated Service Drive: A premier dealership will feature a covered service drive-up area. This protects you and your vehicle from Colorado’s unpredictable weather—be it a frigid winter morning or a sudden summer hailstorm—and allows service advisors to greet you right away and begin the check-in process in comfort.

What does the facility’s condition really say about the dealership?

The cleanliness, modernity, and organization of a dealership are direct reflections of the ownership’s investment in quality and their careful attention to detail.

  • Cleanliness and Modern Amenities: An immaculate, up-to-date showroom and customer lounge show that the dealership cares about the small details that add up to a positive experience. Comfortable seating, complimentary Wi-Fi, and quality refreshments demonstrate respect for your time.
  • Logical Department Layout: Can you easily find the new car showroom, the certified pre-owned section, the service center, and the parts counter? A smart, intuitive floor plan reduces confusion and makes every visit more efficient and pleasant.
  • EV Charging Infrastructure: With the growing popularity of models like the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning, a forward-thinking Ford dealer will have visible and accessible EV charging stations. This proves they are invested in the future of mobility and are ready to support electric vehicle owners for years to come.

A dealership’s physical location is much more than just an address. It is the environment where you will make a major purchase and entrust the care of your vehicle. A clean, accessible, and well-designed facility in a convenient Loveland location is a strong sign of a dealership that values your business and respects your time.

Why is a Strong Local Reputation in the Loveland Area So Important?

In a region where communities like Loveland, Fort Collins, and Greeley are so interconnected, a business’s reputation is built over years of consistent, reliable service. Word-of-mouth travels quickly, whether it’s shared between neighbors at a local brewery or posted in a community social media group. A dealership’s local standing provides a much more genuine picture of its business practices than any advertisement can.

How can you effectively measure a dealer’s local reputation?

Look past paid marketing campaigns and focus on authentic community feedback and active engagement.

  • Word-of-Mouth from Neighbors: Ask friends, family, and colleagues in the greater Loveland area where they buy and service their Ford vehicles. A personal recommendation from someone you trust is often the most reliable feedback you can get.
  • Online Community Discussions: Browse local Facebook groups or Nextdoor forums for mentions of Ford dealerships. Unfiltered comments from your neighbors give honest, real-world insights into their experiences, both good and bad.
  • Longevity and Ownership: How long has the dealership served the community? A dealership that has been locally owned and operated for many years, like one near local landmarks such as the Benson Sculpture Garden, often has deep roots and a strong interest in maintaining a positive reputation.
  • Local Awards and Recognition: Has the dealership been recognized by local business groups, community organizations, or publications? Awards for customer service or community involvement are strong indicators of a business that is valued by its peers and customers.

What does active community involvement truly mean?

A dealership that invests its time and resources back into the local community shows that it cares about more than just its bottom line. This commitment often translates into a more customer-focused approach to its business operations.

  • Sponsorship of Local Groups: Look for dealerships that support local high school sports teams, charity events, or cultural institutions like the Rialto Theater Center. This shows they are an active and supportive member of the community.
  • Partnerships with Local Organizations: A dealer that partners with local non-profits demonstrates a dedication to the well-being and growth of its neighbors. This focus on building relationships is often reflected in how they treat their customers on a daily basis.

Choosing a dealership with a strong, positive local reputation means you are partnering with a business that is accountable to its community. It’s a business that understands the value of long-term trust over short-term profit, which is exactly what you should look for in an automotive partner.

How Should You Evaluate a Ford Dealership’s Vehicle Inventory?

The key is to look past the total number of vehicles on the lot and concentrate instead on the quality, transparency, and accessibility of the inventory information. A modern dealership serving a connected region like Northern Colorado must provide a digital-first experience where you can search, compare, and get accurate details before ever visiting the property.

What does online inventory transparency involve?

A dealership’s website serves as its digital showroom and should be well-organized, informative, and easy to navigate.

  • Live Inventory Feed: The website must feature a searchable database with VIN-specific details that are updated in real-time. This ensures the Ford Bronco you see online is the one actually available on the lot in Loveland.
  • Comprehensive Pricing: The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), any dealer-adjusted pricing, and applicable rebates from sources like Ford Motor Company should be clearly displayed. Hiding prices behind a “get e-price” button is a major red flag that indicates a lack of transparency.
  • High-Quality Visuals: Look for numerous high-resolution photos and, ideally, 360-degree walk-around videos of the actual vehicles. Relying on generic stock images from Ford’s corporate website is a shortcut that provides very little real value to you.
  • Detailed Feature Information: Key features should be clearly listed, such as the Tremor Off-Road package on a Ranger or the BlueCruise hands-free driving system on a Mustang Mach-E. The site should make it easy to compare different trim levels.
  • Reservation and Custom Order Tools: The ability to reserve an incoming vehicle or use a “build and price” tool to place a custom factory order is crucial, especially for high-demand models. This shows the dealer is equipped for modern purchasing trends.

What is the difference between New and Ford Blue Advantage vehicles?

At a Ford dealership, you will find both brand-new Fords and Ford Blue Advantage Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicles. While new models offer the very latest technology and a full factory warranty, Ford Blue Advantage vehicles provide exceptional value backed by peace of mind. The program, which is detailed by trusted authorities like Kelley Blue Book, has multiple tiers of certification.

  • Gold Certified: This top tier includes Ford models up to 6 years old with fewer than 80,000 miles. These vehicles pass a rigorous 172-point inspection and come with a 12-month/12,000-mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty and a 7-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty.
  • Blue Certified: This tier is open to any make and model up to 10 years old with fewer than 150,000 miles. These vehicles undergo a 139-point inspection and include a 90-day/4,000-mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty.

Both new and certified inventory should be clearly marked and easy to browse on the dealership’s website. Information on special financing offers from Ford Motor Credit should also be readily available. Transparency is a measurable advantage that the best dealerships integrate into their online tools and customer interactions.

Ford continues to innovate in performance and electrification, two segments that are gaining popularity with Loveland area drivers.

  • Ford Mustang: The iconic pony car remains the benchmark for American performance. The 2026 Mustang delivers an unmatched driving thrill on winding mountain roads or cruising down Lincoln Avenue in Loveland.
  • Ford Mustang Mach-E: The 2026 all-electric SUV successfully captures the Mustang spirit with zero tailpipe emissions. It offers exhilarating acceleration, a long driving range suitable for regional travel to Denver and back, and a tech-forward cabin, making it a popular choice for those embracing the EV lifestyle in Loveland and surrounding communities.

What Are the Real Benefits of Using a Ford-Certified Service Center?

When your vehicle needs maintenance, it is vital to understand that not all repair shops are the same. While independent mechanics might advertise lower initial prices, they often lack the specialized training, diagnostic tools, and OEM parts needed to properly service modern Ford vehicles. A Ford-certified service center provides a clear and significant advantage in protecting your vehicle’s warranty, performance, safety, and long-term resale value.

What does “Ford-Certified” actually mean for a service department?

This official recognition from Ford Motor Company is a promise that the dealership follows the highest operational standards.

  • Factory-Trained Technicians: The technicians have completed continuous, rigorous training directly from Ford on all models, from the complex systems of an Expedition to the high-voltage architecture of an F-150 Lightning.
  • Use of Genuine Ford Parts: For all repairs, they use OEM parts from trusted sources like Ford Parts that are designed and tested specifically for your vehicle. This ensures a perfect fit, optimal function, and lasting durability.
  • Access to Ford-Approved Equipment: They are equipped with proprietary diagnostic technology and tools designed to accurately identify and resolve issues, saving you time and preventing expensive misdiagnoses.

Authorization for Warranty and Recall Work: They are the only facilities authorized to perform factory warranty repairs and safety recall services according to Ford’s strict protocols, which is essential for protecting your coverage and ensuring your safety.

How does dealership service compare to a local mechanic?

Many drivers wonder if they can save money by using an independent mechanic for routine maintenance. Here’s a direct comparison of the key differences that impact your vehicle’s health and your wallet.

Service Feature Ford-Certified Dealership Independent Mechanic
Technician Training Factory-trained and certified Ford specialists with ongoing education. General knowledge across many brands; may lack model-specific expertise.
Parts Used OEM Ford and Motorcraft® parts that come with a warranty. Often uses aftermarket parts with varying quality and no guarantee of fit.
Warranty Protection All work performed maintains your Ford factory warranty. Risk of having warranty claims denied due to improper parts or procedures.
Hybrid & EV Capability
  • Full support with high-voltage safety training and specialized equipment.
Limited or no training on high-voltage systems, posing a safety risk.
Access to Recalls & TSBs Direct, real-time access to Ford’s internal systems for the latest updates. Relies on third-party information that may be delayed or incomplete.

What service center amenities should you look for?

The best Ford-certified dealerships offer modern conveniences that respect your time and busy schedule.

  • Online Scheduling: The ability to book your service appointment 24/7 through a user-friendly website or mobile app.
  • Mobile Service Options: Some dealers offer a “Ford Mobile Service” option where a certified technician comes to your home or office to perform routine maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Loaner or Shuttle Support: Availability of a complimentary loaner vehicle or shuttle service for more extensive repairs, ensuring you can continue with your day without interruption.
  • Productive Waiting Areas: A clean, modern waiting area with complimentary Wi-Fi, beverages, and quiet workstations, allowing you to stay productive while you wait for your vehicle.

Modern Ford service is built on delivering confidence and convenience. The top dealerships invest heavily in the technology, training, and amenities required to make that a reality for every customer who walks through their doors.

Interested in an Electric Vehicle? Colorado Can Help.

Thinking about buying or leasing an electric vehicle (EV)? The State of Colorado offers support to help you purchase or lease a new or used electric vehicle through statewide programs.

Why Electric Vehicles Matter in Colorado

Vehicles are a major source of air pollution in Colorado.

Each year, millions of metric tons of dangerous greenhouse gases pollute the state. This puts public health at risk and contributes to the hazardous effects of climate change. The need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to protect both people and the environment is increasingly clear.

Benefits of Switching to an Electric Vehicle

You can be part of the solution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions — and save money at the same time.

Benefits of switching to an electric vehicle include:

  • 60–68% lower lifetime emissions compared to similarly sized gas-powered vehicles
  • Charging costs far less than filling up a gas tank
  • Much lower maintenance costs than gas-powered vehicles
  • Battery warranty coverage of at least 8 years or 100,000 miles
  • Federal and state EV tax credits
  • State and utility EV rebates

Vehicle Exchange Colorado (VXC)

The Vehicle Exchange Colorado (VXC) program is a statewide rebate program that encourages income-qualified Coloradans to recycle and replace old or high-emitting vehicles with electric vehicles.

In addition to the VXC rebate, eligible Coloradans may also take advantage of:

  • State income tax credit
  • Federal income tax credit
  • Utility electric vehicle rebates

Who Qualifies? Income Eligibility Requirements

To participate, you must meet one or more of these criteria:

  • Your household income is below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI)
  • OR you are currently enrolled in a financial assistance program

Vehicle Eligibility Requirements (Old or High-Emitting Vehicle)

Your current vehicle must meet the following requirements:

  • Title is in your name only and has no lien (no outstanding loan)
  • Vehicle is currently registered under your name with the Colorado DMV
  • Vehicle is operational
  • Vehicle is gasoline- or diesel-powered
  • Vehicle is at least 12 years old (example: model year 2011 or older for a 2023 application) OR has failed an emissions test in Colorado

See the VXC website for additional eligibility information. Terms and conditions are subject to change.

The Savings Add Up

On top of thousands of dollars in rebates and tax credits for qualifying buyers, EV owners can often save hundreds of dollars per year on fuel and maintenance costs by switching to an electric car.

At Loveland Ford, we understand that when you’re running a small business—whether you’re hauling tools, transporting gear, or towing a trailer—your truck isn’t just a vehicle. It’s a mobile office, a job-site command center, and a productivity tool all in one. That’s why we’ll explore the best vehicles for your commercial needs, including when it makes sense to move beyond the everyday pickup.

Why the right truck matters

Whether you’re in plumbing, landscaping, HVAC, construction, or fleet management, choosing the right vehicle can impact your bottom line. You’re looking for durability, versatility, and cost-efficiency—everything professionals expect from the best trucks for small business.

With the increasingly savvy commercial-vehicle market, agile fleet options like those from Ford are built to support businesses of all sizes. In fact, Ford’s commercial-truck program offers you tools to manage total cost of ownership, uptime, and maintenance.

Choosing the wrong size or spec can cost you through under-utilization, higher fuel or maintenance costs, or limitations on what you can actually haul or tow.

The F-150 for contractors & local business

If your work involves moderate hauling, frequent site visits, and general contractor duties, the Ford F‑150® is a very strong choice. This truck offers balance—capable enough for serious work, agile enough for everyday use.

  • It boasts a max available tow rating up to 13,500 lbs depending on configuration.

  • Bed and cab configurations allow you to tailor it to your job-site needs (tool securement, upfitting, etc.).

  • Hybrid and advanced technology versions mean you can get more value with modern features and maybe even lower operating costs.

At Loveland Ford we can help you spec the F-150 for your business—whether you need extra payload, specialized storage, or job-site power outlets.

Stepping up to Super Duty: F-250, F-350 and beyond

When your business demands heavier hauling, larger trailers, daily towing or you’re building a small fleet, it’s time to look at the heavy-duty class—like the Ford F‑250® or the broader Super Duty lineup. According to the truck class breakdown, the Super Duty models are designed with heavier chassis components to handle more demanding workloads.

Here’s why trades and fleet buyers go this route:

  • Higher Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (GVWR) mean you can carry more gear or passengers without overburdening the vehicle.

  • Stronger frames, more capable towing tools and better upfit potential (especially valuable if you install racks, toolbox systems, service bodies).

  • For a fleet, the commercial-vehicle support from Ford—such as fleet telematics, vehicle-health systems, and operator tools—makes heavy-duty trucks more manageable.

In short: if you’re towing trailers daily, transporting heavier equipment, or turning more than one vehicle, the F-250 (and up) may be the smarter investment.

Fleet-friendly solutions for business

If you’re buying more than one vehicle—or converting your business to a fleet—you’ll appreciate the commercial support behind it. Through Ford’s fleet program you’ll get advantages in purchasing, maintenance, and monitoring. Here at Loveland Ford we work with business owners to find the right combination of vehicle class, maintenance plan, and financing—so you get the right truck with the right support.

Find the Perfect Ford Truck to Power Your Business

Whether you’re a one-truck operation or gearing up for a small fleet, we invite you to stop by Loveland Ford and explore how the right truck can power your business. Need to compare the F-150 for contractors vs. the F-250 for trades? We’ll walk you through specs, upfit options, financing and business-grade support. Start by checking our current inventory or scheduling a test drive today on our website—then let’s get you into the right truck for your business success.

At Loveland Ford, we know your truck is more than just transportation—it’s a work tool, a weekend adventure vehicle, and a durable partner. That’s why understanding the right service rhythm for your Ford F‑150 is critical. Whether you’re driving locally or towing heavy loads, a smart maintenance plan helps you avoid surprises. Below is a comprehensive look at when and what to service, based on your driving habits and the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Building your service schedule with the proper interval

Routine checks throughout the year

Even if you’re not reaching any big mileage milestone, certain tasks should be done annually (or more frequently if your use is severe). These include checking fluid levels, inspecting brakes and tires, and ensuring all lights and safety systems are working.

Mileage-based service intervals

Here is a breakdown of the typical service intervals many users follow for the F-150:

  • Every ~7,500 to 10,000 miles: Oil change, oil filter, tire rotation, fluid check and top-off.
  • Every ~15,000 to 20,000 miles: Replace cabin air filter, inspect brakes, hoses, belts, cooling system.
  • Every ~30,000 miles: Replace engine air filter, inspect more major components.
  • At 60,000 miles and beyond: Spark plug replacement, major fluid changes (e.g., transmission, coolant) depending on use.

This aligns with the broader concept of a proper Ford F-150 maintenance schedule for both normal and more demanding driving conditions.

Adjusting for your driving style and conditions

Your ideal interval may vary based on how and where you drive your F-150. For example:

  • Towing heavy loads, hauling gear, or frequent off-road use means more wear.
  • Short trips, idling, stop-and-go traffic or harsh climates also accelerate service needs.
In those cases, you may want to shorten your oil change interval to every ~5,000 miles instead of waiting 7,500–10,000 miles.

We at Loveland Ford can review your usage and help customize a plan that fits your model year and workload.

Seasonal maintenance checklist

To keep your F-150 in top shape year-round:

  • Spring: Tire pressures and tread, under-body rust inspection, coolant check, fresh start for summer towing.
  • Summer: Monitor transmission & brake temps if towing, check A/C and engine cooling system.
  • Fall: Battery load test, pre-winter inspection of hoses, belts, 4×4 system (if applicable).
  • Winter: Check engine oil condition, ensure all fluids are at proper freeze points, clean brakes from salt and debris.
Keeping a seasonal cadence in addition to mileage-based service helps reduce surprise breakdowns and prolongs the truck’s life.

Keep Your F-150 Running Strong with Expert Service

The key to maximizing your F-150’s reliability lies in regular service, smart planning, and using certified-brand parts. At Loveland Ford, our factory-trained technicians are ready to assist you with everything from a simple oil change to a full multi-point inspection tailored to your truck’s age, mileage, and usage. Don’t wait until something goes wrong—book your next service appointment today. Let’s keep your F-150 running strong all year long.

Choosing a new Ford is exciting, but deciding on the right powertrain can feel complex. Should you stick with traditional gasoline, go fully electric, or find a middle ground with a hybrid? At Loveland Ford, we want to make this decision easier for you. Let’s break down the options to help you find the perfect fit for your lifestyle.

The Power of Gasoline

Ford’s gasoline engines, especially the EcoBoost® family, are more efficient and powerful than ever. They offer proven reliability, impressive towing capacity, and the convenience of refueling anywhere. A gas-powered truck like the F-150 or an SUV like the Explorer provides the raw strength and range needed for long road trips and demanding jobs without a second thought. If maximum performance and refueling flexibility are your top priorities, a gas engine remains an excellent choice.

The All-Electric Advantage

Going all-electric means forever saying goodbye to gas stations. Ford’s EVs, like the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning, deliver instant torque for thrilling acceleration and a quiet, smooth ride. You can charge at home overnight or at a growing network of public stations. This Ford EV buying guide is a fantastic option if your daily drives are predictable and you want to eliminate fuel costs and emissions. Plus, you may benefit from federal tax credits and lower maintenance needs.

The Best of Both Worlds: Hybrid

Can’t decide between the two? A hybrid might be your answer. The debate of Ford electric vs hybrid vs gas often leads here. Hybrids combine a gas engine with an electric motor to optimize fuel economy, especially in city driving. The Maverick and Escape offer excellent hybrid versions. For even more electric range, plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) let you handle most daily commutes on battery power alone before the gas engine kicks in. Exploring the Ford hybrid options 2025 reveals versatile vehicles that reduce your carbon footprint without causing range anxiety.

Find Your Perfect Ford at Loveland Ford

Ultimately, the best powertrain depends on your driving habits, budget, and personal preferences. Whether you value the raw power of gas, the futuristic efficiency of electric, or the balanced performance of a hybrid, there’s a Ford for you.

Ready to explore these options up close? Visit us at Loveland Ford today. Our team is here to answer all your questions and help you test drive the perfect Ford for your needs.

Copilot Ford

Driving has never been safer or more intuitive, thanks to Ford’s Co-Pilot360 Technology. This suite of advanced driver-assist systems is designed to make every drive easier, smarter, and more secure. Whether you’re navigating busy highways or parking in tight spaces, Ford Co-Pilot360 features are engineered to enhance your driving experience.

What Is Ford Co-Pilot360?

Ford Co-Pilot360 is a comprehensive collection of smart safety and assistance technologies. It’s one of the most advanced systems in the automotive industry, focusing on protecting drivers, passengers, and even pedestrians. This groundbreaking Ford driver assist tech combines sensors, cameras, and software to monitor the environment around your vehicle, helping you make better decisions on the road.

Key Ford Co-Pilot360 Features

  1. Blind Spot Information System (BLIS®): Detects vehicles in your blind spots and alerts you with visual indicators.
  2. Lane-Keeping System: Helps prevent accidental drifting by monitoring your position and gently steering you back into your lane if necessary.
  3. Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB): Detects potential collisions with vehicles or pedestrians and applies the brakes if needed.
  4. Adaptive Cruise Control: Maintains a safe following distance from the vehicle ahead, automatically adjusting speed.
  5. Auto High-Beam Headlamps: Brightens and dims headlights automatically, ensuring clear visibility without blinding other drivers.

How Does Ford Co-Pilot Work?

Ford Co-Pilot360 uses a network of cameras and sensors placed around the vehicle to gather real-time data. It continuously analyzes this information to provide situational awareness, helping you respond quickly and confidently to changing road conditions. For example, the Lane-Keeping System will detect unintentional drift by comparing lane markings to your vehicle’s position. Similarly, the Pre-Collision Assist relies on radar to detect obstacles in its path and take corrective action if necessary.

2025 Ford Escape

At Loveland Ford, we’re excited to guide you through the ultimate 2025 compact SUV comparison, highlighting why, in the head-to-head Ford Escape vs Toyota RAV4, the Escape holds a clear edge for families and drivers alike.

Power & Performance — Built for More

The 2025 Ford Escape shines when it comes to power options. You can choose from a 1.5L EcoBoost engine (180 hp), a more thrilling 2.0L EcoBoost (250 hp), a fuel-sipping hybrid, or a plug-in hybrid with around 101 MPGe and roughly 37 electric-only miles. In contrast, the RAV4 offers just a 203-hp 2.5L gas engine and standard hybrid—but no plug-in option with comparable specs.

Space & Comfort — Roomier for Real Life

Inside, the Escape offers more breathing room—104 cubic feet of passenger volume vs. the RAV4’s 98.9. Rear legroom is especially generous: 40.7 inches versus 37.8 inches. For families on the move, those extra inches add up to real comfort.

Towing & Utility — Power to Haul

Whether you’re towing a small trailer or boat, the Escape delivers. Equipped with the 2.0L EcoBoost and proper tow package, it can pull up to 3,500 pounds—twice what the RAV4 Hybrid can manage.

Safety & Tech — Smart Features, Broad Access

The Escape rolls out advanced driver-assist features like adaptive cruise control, 360-degree camera, and more—across mid trims. While the RAV4 offers similar tools, many are limited to top trims. Plus, Escape’s SYNC® 4 infotainment boasts larger screens—up to 13.2 inches versus RAV4’s 10.5—and includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard.

Fuel Efficiency — Savings That Add Up

If fuel economy is a priority, the Escape hybrid delivers up to 39 mpg combined, matching the RAV4 hybrid—yet pairing that with Escape’s plug-in option gives you economy and flexibility.

Best SUV for Families 2025

For caregivers prioritizing safety and comfort, the best SUV for families in 2025 resources from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration offer helpful guidance. These authoritative insights reinforce the importance of roomy interiors, strong safety features, and solid value—where the Escape truly excels.

The Ford Escape vs Toyota RAV4 comparison leans decisively in Escape’s favor when you consider performance, interior space, towing, and tech value. With more engine choices, family-friendly legroom, strong towing capability, and smart technology for less money—and at Loveland Ford, with competitive incentives—it’s the clear winner.

Ford Bronco

At Loveland Ford, we know the excitement surrounding the 2025 Ford Bronco is real — and so is the confusion when choosing between its many trim levels. Whether you’re eyeing the stylish Outer Banks, the off-road-ready Badlands, or the performance-focused Wildtrak, we’re here to help you navigate your options with a clear Bronco trim comparison.

What’s New for the 2025 Ford Bronco?

The 2025 model continues to honor the Bronco’s legacy of rugged capability and modern versatility. This year, Ford has fine-tuned features across trims, improved interior materials, and expanded tech offerings to make every Bronco even more adventure-ready — no matter which trim you choose.

Explore our 2025 Bronco inventory at Loveland Ford to see what’s available today.

Outer Banks vs. Badlands: Style or Trail Toughness?

One of the most common comparisons we see is Ford Bronco Outer Banks vs Badlands — and it’s a valid debate.

  • Outer Banks: Ideal for drivers who want upscale style with rugged roots. It includes body-colored fenders, 18″ wheels, and a refined interior with upgraded tech. It’s perfect for daily driving and weekend getaways with some light trail duty.

  • Badlands: Built for serious off-roaders. Equipped with the HOSS 2.0 suspension system, front stabilizer bar disconnect, and 33″ all-terrain tires, Badlands is your go-anywhere trail companion. Its aggressive approach and departure angles make it a true adventurer’s Bronco.

If you’re looking for off-road power without compromising on comfort, Badlands may be the better pick, while Outer Banks is better suited for pavement cruisers who want capability when needed.

Ford Bronco Wildtrak: Power Meets Performance

For those who want a Bronco that doesn’t hold back, the Ford Bronco Wildtrak is the ultimate pick. Designed for high-speed off-road driving, Wildtrak features a twin-turbocharged 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 engine, advanced 4×4 with automatic on-demand engagement, and the HOSS 3.0 system with FOX™ internal bypass dampers.

It’s built for Baja-style performance, making it ideal for thrill-seekers who want speed, control, and confidence off the grid.

More Trims to Consider: Big Bend, Black Diamond & More

While Outer Banks, Badlands, and Wildtrak get much of the spotlight, don’t overlook trims like:

  • Big Bend – A great entry point for adventure-minded buyers.

  • Black Diamond – Adds rock rails, heavy-duty skid plates, and more off-road hardware.

  • Heritage Edition – A nostalgic nod with retro styling and modern features.

For a full rundown of what each offers, check out this official Bronco trim comparison from Ford’s own website.

F-150 Ford 2025

At Loveland Ford, we know our customers don’t just want a pickup truck — they want the best pickup truck of 2025. And when it comes to deciding between the 2025 Ford F-150 and the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado, there’s no shortage of strong opinions. That’s why we’ve put these two top contenders head to head in a full comparison of specs, towing, features, and price.

Performance and Power: Built to Work Hard

Both trucks are engineered to deliver serious power in 2025, but the Ford F-150 stands out with more engine options — including the popular 3.5L PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid V6. This engine delivers both torque and fuel efficiency, something Silverado still lags behind on.

In contrast, the 2025 Silverado focuses on its available 6.2L V8, which offers high horsepower but lower fuel economy.

When comparing towing capacity Ford vs Chevy, the Ford F-150 leads with a max towing capacity of 13,500 lbs (when properly equipped), compared to the Silverado’s 13,300 lbs. That slight edge can make a big difference when hauling heavy loads.

Tech and Interior: A Smarter Cabin

In the tech department, both trucks offer advanced infotainment systems and digital instrument clusters, but Ford goes a step further with BlueCruise, a hands-free driving feature available on select trims. The Silverado includes Super Cruise, but it’s more limited in availability and road compatibility.

The F-150 also boasts Pro Power Onboard, essentially turning your truck into a mobile generator — a huge plus for job sites and weekend adventures. Learn more about available trims and features in our new Ford truck inventory.

Price and Value: Where Does Your Money Go Further?

Pricing for both models is competitive, but Ford provides more value at the base level. The F-150 starts at a lower MSRP than the Silverado, while still including a suite of standard driver-assist technologies with Ford Co-Pilot360™.

For shoppers in Northern Colorado, we also offer local specials and incentives to make upgrading into a 2025 Ford even more attainable.

Which Is Better for You? The Final Verdict

If you’re comparing the Ford F-150 vs Chevy Silverado in search of capability, innovation, and long-term value, the numbers speak for themselves: the 2025 Ford F-150 reigns supreme. It delivers top-tier towing, industry-leading features, and a better starting value — all backed by Ford’s legacy of dependability.

To back this up, check out this 2025 truck comparison and safety ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) — a trusted, non-commercial source for vehicle testing and performance.

Whether you’re transporting your team, tools, or light equipment, multi-passenger vans offer seating and cargo options to suit your needs. You’ll find many options and styles in our inventory of used multi-passenger vans — great for transporting crew and essential tools to your next job site.

Not sure where to start? Consider test-driving the latest Ford F-350 Crew Cab or the Ford F-150 SuperCrew Cab 4×4 for a little extra power in your workday.

Job-ready SUVs

SUVs (or Sport Utility Vehicles) are excellent choices if you want a high-power, high-utility option to add to your fleet. With a competitive MPG and a work-ready design, this versatile model can handle almost anything thrown at it.

Drivers looking for Ford electric cars for sale in Loveland, CO, just got a huge financial incentive. The state recently enacted House Bill 23-1272, increasing the EV tax credit from $2,000 to $5,000. The new credit will be huge savings for Colorado taxpayers who use it before the December 31, 2024, deadline.

Saving on Ford EVs With Tax Credits

What You Need To Know About Colorado’s EV Tax Credit

Naturally, there are some rules to follow regarding the new tax credit. The credit applies to new electric cars purchased between July 1, 2023, through the end of 2024. On January 1, 2025, the credit declines to $3,500 and continued to decline until 2029.

The credit is only available for Colorado taxpayers on new electric and hybrid vehicles. The car must have a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) under $80,000, or the credit will not apply. Drivers interested in using this tax credit will want to take a look at the Ford Mustang Mach-E. This vehicle averages 97 miles to the gallon on the highway, so you’ll save money on gas as well.

What You Need To Know About the Federal EV Tax Credit

The state tax credit is in addition to the Federal tax credit. It’s important to note that the Federal tax credit comes with many more stipulations. For example, the new car needs to be made with parts manufactured in North America, like the ones made by Ford. There are also income requirements that need to be met.

The vehicle also needs to have an MSRP under $55,000 if it’s a car and $80,000 for an SUV, pickup, or van. For those who qualify, this incentive is for up to $7,500. This is particularly significant when added to Colorado’s new $5,000 EV credit.

The new tax credit has our finance department at Loveland Ford particularly excited. When combined with our low-interest rates, the new Mustang Mach-E has never been more affordable. Our online payment calculator and trade appraisals also make the financing process a breeze. Visit Loveland Ford today to learn more about financing your new car.
